Soarin' FastPass for child not yet 3?

I read on another thread that the CMs at Soarin' are real sticklers about each child holding his/her own Fast Pass. When we took our DD to WDW 2 years ago, getting a FP for her wasn't a concern on rides because she obviously didn't need one. She'll be just shy of 3 when we go in Dec, so she won't need a ticket to get into the parks, but is tall for her age. If we get Fast Passes for Soarin', will we be hassled because she doesn't have one?

Explain to the CM's the child's age and situation, and that you do not have a park pass to receive a fastpass.

It won't be an issue.

she might not be able to ride soarin, you have to be a certain height.
