I LOVE it, it is one of my all time favorites. My boys both like it well enough (ages 11 and 7), but my husband could do without it. He actually just said to me last night: Soarin' is borin'! ugh! So I'm glad to know he's not the only one, lol
I absolutely love it! I wouldn't mind if they spruced up the screen and maybe changed the movie to a flight around Florida, but all in all it's a must-do for us.
As much as I do enjoy our trips to Florida, I just think without mountains, etc, it would fall kind of flat. I have wondered why it didn't feature the countries in WS. But I do love this ride. I find it relaxing and exciting at once.
I love Soarin' because it's so different from any other ride. Having the scenery rush at you, the smells, and the music all come together to make such a wonderful experience.
Granted, I'd like to see Disney go to a digital format, where they could have dozens (or more) of scenes and randomly change them so that each ride would be different.
It's a must-do for us, sure, but I won't say I love it. Maybe it's partly because we always end up at the lowest row every time we go! Just our luck I guess.
Im not a huge fan but thats probably because im a big thrill ride person and this just doesnt really thrill me much Its unique and was cool to experience but if theres a long line I wont touch it.
Nope thought it was mediocre, however I was in the bottom row, had feet and the edge of the screen in frame taking me out of the experience....looking fwd to trying it again and waiting for first row!
Nope never have. I just don't see the appeal. No please don't tell me. I came to Disney to immerse myself in all things Disney, not landforms from California. Just my opinion though.
I have been lucky to be in the first row each time. I do love it but it's one and done a trip I don't ride it multiple times. The last time I rode it I had a poor experience this loud mouth woman was talking through the whole ride to her parents who had never rode it saying "Isn't this great" in an obnoxious manner and swinging her feet so hard it was shaking the ride. It was not pleasant, but it is a cool ride and concept. I think it does need cleaning up though.
I love that ride! It should be like the Star Wars ride though....a number of different films played randomly. Could be flying over Florida, Europe, Asia whatever. How difficult would it be for them to make some new films and add some new scents??
I do not LOVE it, but I enjoy it and I think I would feel a loss if I went to WDW and didnt ride it. My mom loves it which is funny cuz she is terrified of heights!
I agree completely. I only do it when I have a fp or if it is a short wait. When test track was under refurb in 2012, that pavillon was open an additional hour later than the rest of the park. Noone knew about that, so we rode it 3 times in a row with no wait. But to be honest, I like TT better.
