Hi everyone,
I have been reading reports recommending that people rope drop Test Track and then ride Soarin' right afterwards now that Soarin' has additional capacity from the third theater. However, I have also been reading that Test Track is notorious for opening a bit late on regular 9 AM opening days. I was wondering if anyone knows how reliably Test Track is open right at rope drop on EMH mornings?
We will be going to Epcot on an Extra Magic Hour morning on our upcoming trip mid-May, and were planning to rope drop Test Track, followed by Soarin', and to then ride Living with the Land, Figment, and Nemo. We have late morning/ early afternoon fastpasses for Spaceship Earth (10 AM), Mission Space (11 AM), and Frozen Ever After (12:20 PM). Any advice/ personal experiences with doing Test Track followed by Soarin on EMH mornings specifically? It would definitely be a bummer to rush to Test Track at 8:00 AM only to find that it had a delayed opening anyways!
I also realize that single rider is an option at Test Track, but my husband has never been to Disney World before, so I would really like for us to ride together (at least for the very first ride).
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
