We have a 515 reservation at Akershus if I do a 4-5 FP+ at Soarin (assuming I can get one) and arrive to Soarin by 430 is that enough time? Should we plan to arrive earlier?

You'll be cutting it close since the attraction itself is fairly lengthy.

Is there a reason you can't arrive at 4 or 4:15?

It would just shorten any break we are taking midday. If 4 or 415 is a better time then that's what we will do or at least shoot for. In reality I want my dad to get to go on and he leaves to go home after dinner so trying to fit it in before.

I'd be there no later than 4:15. Even with FP+, there's still a minimal wait, then a 5 or so minute wait to board, ride is 5 minutes, and then the walk to Norway.

Doubtful. Even with a FP, waiting in line, getting through the attraction and walking back out takes 30 mins minimum. Arrive at 4, that will give you plenty of time.

Soarin can be a weird one to judge. I have had a fast pass in the past and it took about five minutes to get onto the ride. The last time I went, I was stuck behind one of the infamous tour groups and it took 45 minutes to get onto Soarin with a fast pass. I had a fast pass using my wives magic band at the same time for Test Track and I missed the Test Track time because of how long it took for Soarin.

I would be there at 4pm for your FP. Even if you get through the line at, and the attraction itself, at Soarin as quickly as possible, it's a bit of a hike to get to Norway from The Land pavilion.

I agree with this. They almost couldn't be much farther apart and even with the FP+, there is still usually a small wait before you get into the pre-ride instructional video lines.

I had thought of all that. I was thinking in terms of the moment the OP scans into the FP line, to the moment they exit the ride. Even if that goes as quickly as possible, cuts it real close to make it to Akerhaus by 5:15. Also consider that you're supposed to check in a few minutes before your reservation time.

4pm it is! Thanks everyone, now I'll be looking for a 330-430 FP I guess. I could also do for after dinner but really don't want to leave world showcase and go back after dinner.

Plus my dad would like to get on the road right after dinner to head home.

Yes, even if you get through the ride as fast as possible, it still could take 20 minutes to get in and back out of the Land Pavilion and it's really a long way to Norway. Feels even longer if it's hot. :)
