Soarin' and a toddler

So My wife and I love Soarin' but we have no idea how our three year old would do on the ride. It will be a few days into our trip so we'll know how she does on some of the other rides. Has anyone else taken a three year old on soarin? What happens if we get "airborne" and she freaks out? Any suggestions?

We took our 3.5 year old on Soarin in November and she loved it! Not scared at all. We did rider swap for our younger one so she actually rode twice in a row. Only thing is height is 40 inches, makes sure she's tall enough first.

Took my 3.3yo on Soarin last month. I was a little unsure how it would go but he loved it and is still talking about it.

DD works there. What she does when she sees a child is nervous is first give them stickers, then she tells them it's like watching a movie while on a rocking chair that goes up like a ferris wheel. She then rocks the glider so the child can see that the glider does indeed move and it is supposed to. She has never told me of any freak outs. One thing you can do is show them a video of what it will be like so they aren't worrying, tell them there are special smells during the movie so be sure to sniff, I hold my DS hand and I always tell him to lift his feet when you go down over the river or over the trees. Little stuff to distract from the mechanism and focus on the movie.

The videos are a good idea. Depending on your child, it may help to explain what the ride is going to do and what makes them safe. I think once the initial ascent happens, she will be so immersed in what is happening that she won't even realize she's up high. Maybe take her on Peter Pan's flight over at MK first. If she does ok with that, she may be assured that this won't be bad.
