Soap Stars Weekend

We are planning a large family trip for 10/30-11/7. Will this coincide at all with that weekend? Also, if it does has anyone had expierence with the crowds?
It seems like a good time to go w/ the food and wine festivel and MNSSHP.

Even though my DH and I said we would stay away from MGM on Super Soap weekend we wound up going one of the days this past November They were directing traffic very well and we got a parking spot in 5 minutes. We found the streets crowded but the rides were fine. We do not watch soaps but if you are a fan it should be fun. We also got into Brown Derby with a 10 minute wait right around noon!
