Soap question

When I was in WDW I bought a bunch of different soaps at Basin. I put out the Christmas one but it didn't get totally used. It is still in really good shape and I would like to keep it to use again next year. Does anyone know the best way to store soap? I have tried to in the past but it gets all dried out and cracked. I know I'm lame for keeping soap but I'm not going back down til 2012 so I have to make it last LOL

It's not just a tiny sliver I want to save, it is still in great shape. It is the white soap with red mickey heads in it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Wrap the soap tightly in Saran Wrap and then put the soap in a Ziploc bag. This should keep the air away so the soap doesn't dry out and crack.

I've frozen some Basin soap before, and it thawed out pretty nicely. Didn't crack or break while frozen, or during thaw.

Just keep in mind that if you want the soap to "last" longer, bars of soap are best stored "unwrapped"..
