We are thinking of doing the SOA dinner show this upcoming trip. We booked during free dining and were planning on using dining credits for the show. However, the general opinion seems to be that tier 1 seating is the best option for this show. Since the dining plan only allows you to have tier 2 and tier 3 seating, can we book tier 1 seating, use 2 dining credits and pay the price difference in cash?

I figured that would be the case. For anyone that has gone to the show: is it worth it to pay OOP for tier 1 seating or will we enjoy it just as much in tier 2 seating using our dining credits?
