My sisters were once out with a friend, and someone from their friend's school saw them and spread around her school that she hangs out with emos, because my sisters were wearing black clothes, they had loads of bands & bracelets on, their hair is an "emo fringe" as they say.

No I'm totally with you on that.
I dislike my generation in several ways. Teenagers these days are so annoying. Mostly the tweens though who think Nick Jonas is going to be president in 2038 (not an election year ). I saw a girl on that Facebook group saying she'd move to the US so she could be under his rule. Like, um okay?

I can deal with the people older than me, but the ones my age and younger drive me insane. I hate the white wannabe gangsters. They act like they're tough and they've got it rough at home... oh yeah, your dad is a elementary school principal, you're SO ghetto.
I had a kid in my english class exclaim he wwas from the ghetto. He grew up in a subdivision of my neighbourhood, and went to the newest, nicest, preppiest school before HS.

I don't think the style looks good at all, and that's all emo seems to mean anymore. What it really means... actually, I don't know. Everything I do know is probably a rude stereotype. Long as being emo doesn't hurt anyone, go for it. Doesn't bother me any.
