Skiing. There are restrooms on every floor of the building within the lift core area.
Our office takes up the whole of our floor. So for security outside 8-6 office hours you need swipe card access to 1- access our floor. And 2- to open the sliding door between the lift core and our office.

I understand. Do you have an intercom at the door into the office area? I hope not people will be calling all day after they ran out to pee and forgot to bring their card with them

6 hours in both directions. So not too bad really.

Remember the good old days where you could leave the airport and walt back in to get on your connection? With 6 hours you could of taken the BART to SF eat down town shop for a couple hours and make the plan.

Well folks, new update on the TR. Take your Dramamine PIO!

I'm ready to set sail again.

It was interesting to see the sub, I was really surprised I did not hyperventlate.

Saturday morning and I'm running out the door. It's market weekend. I'll come back and catch up on the threads....after I've taken the dramamine. :thumbsup2

I will pretend I am out with you. I need to get outside. I love my bed, I love my bed.

They 'fixed' it by about 9am. There's no intercom. I'd just keep bashing on the glass. It's a two big glass sliding doors

Ah yes....Now anything less than a 2 hour connection time is 'worrying'.

Don't know which one but I have been in a sub before. In the US.
There's one at our Maritime museum
They aren't really a claustrophobia things for me. Just annoying. Like the Nemo subs :confused3

What I LOVED visiting when I was a kid was an American Aircraft carrier. They used to come to Australia every so often and you could look all over the place. They put you on the aircraft "elevator platform" and take you up top and you could look around. I miss those days too...
:sad2:
Just like when you could go visit the Captain in the cockpit of an aircraft while in flight :sad1:

Your making a pit stop in Frisco? Is this on your way to Europe? I probably have no idea what I am thinking or asking.:upsidedow

About to fall alseep, I'm guessing.

I have no ideas where that area leads to. they had tape across the area.

Not too far if anywhere. Just right into the nose of the sub.

My 3.5 year old computer is giving me a very nasty "your hard drive may fail" message.

It might be imminent, or not. But if I'm not around for the next couple of weeks, don't panic. That would be me....panicking....:headache:

 Hi Lasters! Sorry I've been MIA, I worked Tues & Wed (13 hour shifts). Wed night DH finally agreed to a WDW trip in May!! :yay::yay: I spent yesterday planning flights, park days & ADRs. Took all afternoon today, but I've got everything all booked! :cool1: Just a quick 4 night trip, but I'm sooo happy.

Do we have a cartwheel or back flip smilie? That's what I feel like doing! :rotfl2: Guess I'll have to settle for a banana.

Usnuz: How's the back?

PIO: Hope your computer makes it. I got the Win7 Security virus in Dec. Luckily I was able to get it fixed in only 2 days. I hate being without the computer.

How's everyone else? Guess I need to go back & catch up.

Yup....:upsidedow
Most Aussies go via Asia. Singapore, or Hong Kong or Bangkok (if you're weird)
But ALL those airlines give you ONLY one 50pound bag and 6kg in carry on (that's the weight of some wheelie bags)

When we fly to the USA nearly every airline will give you two bags. :thumbsup2

Those were great days.
They really were :sad1:

Hard drives arent that expensive. I already had to get this one a hard drive and its alomst 2 yrs old. Its a PITB. Hope you get it fixed soon. Havent talked for a while. But then again a little pill keeps kicking my butt. I may need to get more.:headache:

PIO, I suggest you pick up an external hard drive (they run anywhere from $30-120 here, depending on the capacity) and back everything up asap. You really don't want to lose your data, and backing it up on an external will give you a copy of everything on a drive not actually attached to your computer.

:yay::yay: Great that you have a vacay booked. Even better because it's to the World!!!

Tell us all about it. Where are you staying, eating etc?

Sadly, this isn't a virus thing. I have McAfee constantly running on my PC. Its the hard drive.....old age.

Is that what the message really says? Do you have a way to back up your hard drive?

Yup. That's what the message really says. :sad1:

I have two external hard drives here.

Spent the last two hours backing up ALL my docs on one of them and pictures on both. Thankfully, I've been backing up the pictures every 3 months anyway; so the last 3 months worth of pics *only* took 40 minutes to do.

I guess this means that I'm getting a new laptop. DH and I are going window shopping soon.
