The FIL used to take Tramadol, he said it didn't do anything for him, but he was off his rocker.
Alison - I laughed out loud with that one! Reminded me of when they gave my father some really heavy duty tranquilizer when he was in the hospital for something non-pyscho related and he told my mother that she wasn't his wife but that I was!
and Alison, your "but I'm not quite gone yet!" made me laugh because it always makes me think of that Monty Python movie line "but I'm not dead yet" when they're bringing out the dead during the plague.
All - And the humor in this thread has been really good lately! Yes, Alison is there a feline conspiracy being plotted? No chance of that in our house since our kitty is either totally dazed from dancing leaf window videos or taking 4 hour naps!
And yeah, maybe this should be the "pain thread" since at least for me, as the song goes, "I can't get no, satisfaction" for my pain compainin' at home since DH with his scoliosis takes it all!
usnuz - Never heard of malaxicam. Hope it helps and that you do get better! You have been in pain TOOOOOOOO long!
queenie - I liked your Mount Vernon Christmas tree pictures! The colors were vivid and so clear! I'm waiting for your next batch... and good for you to choose to stay away from that stage of moving! As the kids used to say, 'been there and done that' and I won't do it again at my age!
Bye all!
