Of rats in trees? You bet I do!

That reminds me, I saw a weird animal site.

3 moose all together. Cow, calf and a bull. Cows and calfs stay together two years then the calf is an adult and goes on it's own. Cows won't mate again until the calf is gone. So it was strange to see a bull with the pair.

Let me start with (one) of the problems that broke the camels back....





Relying on Google Maps...whatever they suggest...not researching ANY further to realise perhaps that is a dinky tiny winding road as opposed to the nice shiny interstate over there...
Getting LOST...because...well...I think it's this way...
Should I have mentioned it is a 30min drive away? Oh....

Why do you think that I make DH do most of the driving and I do the navigating?

TERRIFYING!!!!!! When in Anaheim last time we could have as many drivers as we liked on the rental.
I let him drive about 10 mins around the streets and then onto the Interstate







ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!


I'm not bragging but I am the best driver in the family...and best able (until now) to tolerate him and his navigating. Which USED to be good. But now...he just google maps and then relies on that. It's ridiculous. He has NO respect for the driver.
Why I make a "better" driver is reflexes and that I can read signs as well. (as opposed to my father). But he would REFUSE to say which were the next 2 steps to watch for. He wouldn't say how far this random destination was. He would come up with "I was thinking we could also do this ON THE WAY BACK."

On the way back meant...kinda this way....perhaps this road....via the whole CBD of Lancaster...along a dark and winding road...

He's lucky I didn't kill him...

The problem is, i'm not just taking ANY cat, I want one I like, these beacthes had a cat I liked but wouldn't give him to us. Beatches!

I got a text this morning saying that my grandmother had fallen down and broken her hip. Lovely. She's having surgery in about eight hours.

I'm sure she'll be all right. I'm also fairly sure that she might be in a nursing home for a while, since I doubt my aunt will want to take care of her. Since my parents are in Wisconsin until Friday, my mom had me send her some flowers.

I picked those ones.
