Angela - When you come back, I want to ask a favor on your cruise....could you take some pictures of the "tendering" process in Cabo? Fran wants to know how treacherous it is and if we can leave the boat in Cabo. If there are buses or transport waiting once we get off the tenders and she doesn't have to walk, she might attempt it. I'm not sure she can lift her legs up to do it.

I'm thinking stay on the boat, but she wants to know what she is facing so if you could take some pictures, I would appreciate it! :thumbsup2

I'll try to get some pics and ask a few questions since I remember having to go down stairs to a platform and nothing was very stable. I wonder if you could make arrangements with the CMs for some other way then the normal boarding process.

My SIL, his sister and uncle made an awesome carnitas dinner for my party last night and we're still eating the leftovers. Yummy! It's so great to get the authentic carnitas, nice and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, not to mention homemade rice, beans and salsa. We won't worry about the arteries this weekend.:)

I dont know about Cabo, but we tendered in Catalina. It is steps into the tender. I dont know about getting electric chairs. They may have a special for that. If the ocean is choppy it can be hard to get back on the ship with tendering.

Sounds good! I am glad you had a good time.

I'm hoping there is another option for getting on the tenders as I didn't see any way for a scooter to get on at least on the one we were on. I'll ask about it once we're on the ship. I can't believe it's only 2 weeks away. The kids are getting so excited.

I'm guessing, no. I just want to show her pictures of what to expect before she gets all excited about shore excursions. I can't even imagine if the seas are choppy and I'm sure she can't bring a scooter! However, she is really iffy on her feet even if she is getting better. I'm thinking it is a nice day on the ship without a lot of other passengers, perfect time for a massage!

That sounds quite tasty! Fran made Clam Chowder tonight so we aren't worrying about arteries either! :lmao:

Clam Chowder sounds good on a cool grey day. Oh how I miss my Mom's clam chowder. The closest I've found is in a little cafe in Fort Bragg.

I am sure they could with a regular wheel chair. But I didnt notice anyone with an electric scooter. I do know on port days they do have specials for the spa. I used the spa once for my feet, that was fantastic.:thumbsup2
