They didn't have it marked in the system that Fran had come in and taken care of it, so they had to do a follow up visit. Hopefully they are done with us.

I went back to the urgent care, the doctor gave me 40 pain pills. I certainly wont take all that. At least I got out to the store and walked. I am so greatful. I am using a heating pad on my back to soften it. I will see the chiro this week, now that I am not to tender to be touched.

How is everyone? I ordered pizza, to busy.

We are at HD supply, buying a vanity, hood fan, garbage disposal. Now we're on the way to Home Depot for a toilet.

Then I ran out to the mall.

No, standard white, but is has a cool dual flush thingy. We just had Tommy put one in our second bathroom yesterday.

PIO, how many WW points do you get a day. I noticed that the Lean Cuisine meal I ate this morning had 7 points. Of course after I had that I got a chicken thigh at Pollo Loco, a Loco Salad, and a taco with extra cheese from Taco Bell.

I know my mum used to get second hand duplicates where possible of maths and science text books so I could have one at work and one at home.



Got my money this morning. The exchange had the best rate around (no fees no commission) so I got the maximum cash I feel comfortable carrying and the rest on the card. commbank's rate makes me a bit mad...but...I feel comfortable having it on the card and happy having a reasonable rate locked in.

For those not checking the Boo to us thread, I've lost 2.1 kg in the last 3 weeks. That's nearly 5 lbs.

DS is overweight. We want to encourage him to walk to school and back. It took him 15 minutes this morning (and me about 10 minutes to walk home).

That is a short walk to school. Excellent for 5 pounds. I cant wait to get up and do some walking. I will sure enjoy it. Does he like his new school?

I know laptops can be heavy (especially dinosaur ones)...but a bag full of textbooks is heavier

You know that's the ONLY thing better about work rather than uni. You are paid to be overworked and you don't have 'homework'...

Tired and Headachy still.
Just took some asprin as 'prescribed' by my personal medic. I thought I'd give ibuprofen with codeine a whirl as it used to work and it did nothing. So went back to paracetamol with the codeine...and am now trying asprin.

I understand the wanting him to walk. Is it worth getting him a wheelie bag to help encourage him? Obviously carrying a load properly can help with the 'weight loss' potential. But if it is actually hurting him at times?
I remember my school bags mum would always try and get a version with the metal bars and get them bent to my back shape. But you always get lazy and just fling it on the one shoulder anyway...
