My DBF finally moved to a rented place a month ago and you get NOTHING appliance wise. Other than a cooktop and oven. And this is typical in the UK. No Dishwasher.

We were up in Port Douglas once and visited the wetlands and I got 5 bites in a row along one arm. They turned into 5 boils...
THEN...I put a bandaid over one and my skin reacted to THAT! So I had a rash around it.

I would think washing the walls and everything down first would be best as if it lands on carpet or whatever it won't matter.

It amazes me the dedication you are putting in with all the places.

No blinds, No window furnishings at all.

We dont have the money to do anything with the pink other than clean it.

The contractor is going to treat the walls, there are special painting agents intended for that. We wanted to make sure that the cabinets were cleaned properly since they are going to repaint them and its possible that once the job is done they could start peeling if they are not prepared correctly.

With the competition in the rental market right now, we try to provide jaw dropping "Wow" places to live so that we can get good money for them. Most places provide window treatments and if we didn't provide them, the tenants would make holes in the walls putting up their own.

We're adding an itty bitty dishwasher to the place because neither Fran or I would want to move into a place without a dishwasher.

I didn't dine at either but one of the tours takes you in.

Even having not dined I'd HIGHLY recommend going to Remy if you can get a booking. It's a $75 surcharge per person but it looks and sounds truly amazing.
And it's $95pp for just appetiser and main at my favourite Sydney restaurant...

Yes it is on the ship on the top deck. Palo and Remy.
Palo - Italian
Remy - French

Palo is I think $25 extra. They are both adult only restaurants.

The Wonder has Palo only and it started as a $5 extra adult only restaurant so isn't as elaborate although I've only seen the entry way of that one.
