So You Think You Can Dance

So I'll admit, I got sucked in to another reality show this summer. I can't belive I am admitting I am watching this thing, but I am . And I don't care what anyeone says about Dimitri. He could sit there and sway back and forth all night long and I would still like to watch him.

I really like Cat by the way. She looks like she is having so much fun, and she isn't obnoxious like other Fox reality show hosts.

However, I fell asleep last night before they announced who was leaving the show. I struggled with my heavy eye lids, but they would not stay open. I have searched the DIS for a thread, and have gone to the Fox website, but I can't find out who's gone.

So, please, someone help me.

I think it was really close for Dmitry last night. They were so close to 10:00pm wwhen announcing last night they really rushed through it. They loved Musa and his style and how hard he tried but let him go because they just felt he was a strong enough all around dancer. He really seemed to try hard and it was sad to see him go.

But, like you, I love watching Dmitry. I think he does have to step it up. But the last 2 routines they gave him and Ashlee were so "yucko" IMHO that he needs something to work with to really judge him. His solo wasn't so hot last night (in both ways! LOL) but there is something I find about him that is hot. However, I do not think he'll go on to win unless he steps it up and shows (like the judges said) "more than his chest." LOL

Thanks for the info. I have been driving myself crazy all morning.

I think they probably picked the right people. At some point, they have to keep the people who perform the best in all the dancing formats, not just their own. Musa and his partner had great chemistry, but that is not enough when you are judging the best performers. Ashlee was not really spectacular in any of her performances, but she was entertaining.

I think the pop and hip hop routines have caused trouble for many couples. I also agree with you Buck abdout Dimitri. I will hate to see him go (swoon) but his style and body are suited only for Latin-type dances, and really don't lend themselves well to other styles of dance.

Did Nigel make the announcement that they are going to single routines next week?

I think out of the girls left, it is going to be tough to decide who to keep (even though America has final say now). I really like Allison, Darnyelle and the blonde with the big smile (can't remember her name). Out of the guys, I like Benji and am liking Ivan more and more. For a hip hop dancer he has proven he can do more, he was terrific with his latest routine, and when he did the salsa a few weeks back, that was also great. As for an overall winner...gosh not sure yet. I have to agree with OP about the host, I think she is also terrific.
