I just got so busy, I forgot to post it here. Yesterday we celebrated 3 amazing years together. Who says online relationships won't last?
Not a single day since I met Christy has passed, that I don't pinch myself. I feel like Maria in the Sound of Music..."So somewhere in my youth or childhood I must have done something good."
This August, when he head to Disney for her first trip, and they ask us, "What are you celebrating?"...we're celebrating Forever Love. I've always hoped, there IS a soulmate for each of us. I also know, for many the timing isn't right, the circumstances need to change, something. For us, it was OUR time. I turned 40 and met the love of my life. Since that day, everything we do, is in our favour. We got the RIGHT jobs when we moved, the RIGHT house, our familes love our partners...TOTAL acceptance, my kids adore Christy. Again, the life were building together, was so worth waiting for. Last night, our anniversary, we sat on our porch, waved to neighbores walking by, sipped our glasses of champagne and we realized, not everyone in life will have what we do. It's a gift, to be cherished. Then, of course, we came in and watched Pirates of the Caribbean!!!
To those who know this kind of love, may we continue to grow in love and never take our gift for granted. To those who have yet to find it, keep wishing upon your star!
