We have an ADR for CP at 8:05 for a party of 6. 2 of our party is meeting us for the day at MK. Well, the party of 2 is now thinking they may not be in FL at that time. Will be charged the $10 no show fee for the 2 extra people if we show up with our party of 4?? We stay off property so this time is GREAT so that we can be in FL at rope drop. I plan to keep checking for a party of 4 openning but was wondering what would happen if we showed up with a party of 4 with an ADR party of 6. I've thought about calling Disney Dining to ask but I know you can usually get better info here than there.

According to one of their FAQ pages no you should not be charged

Seems to be so far that there are no charges if a partial party shows up. Just if the entire party is a no-show.

If at some point in the next few weeks you know that the other couple isn't definitely not coming, you should be able to call the dining line and get your party size adjusted down to four.

If you get a CM that says they would need to cancel and rebook the party, say "no thank you." Hang up and call back for another CM. They CAN adjust party sizes downward.
