We totally weren't going to go back, but I started pricing out some 'cheapies' in Spain, Portugal and the like and was finding the costs to be not so cheap.

I was bemoaning this to hubby over the phone, (we was at my son's football match), last night, and he just calmly says...

"Look we may as well just go back to Florida, what do you think?"

WHAT DO I THINK????

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

All that said, we have to do it on a much more cost effective level this time out. We'll stay off site, and do a lot less TS meals etc.

I am so excited! We're looking at June 25th - July 11th.

What about the rest of you? Are you going back again??

We are hoping to do Christmas 09.

I am also still trying the wangle New Year - I am working on the same lines as you though that a week in Tenerife is coming out at nearly £1500 and Florida is only £3000 for 3 weeks!

hi, we are going back in august 09, for 19 days, it gets longer, longer
every year, (07-14 days, 08-16 day)s im hoping eventually i will talk hubby into emmigrating lol

Only 1 trip planned next year so far, dates/school hols don't fall well for me. :sad1:

If I get the flights we want our plans are 16 nights offsite, 7 nights DCL, 2 nights AKL. August 6th-31st.

We were planning on xmas again next year, but times are getting hard (really struggling to get enough spending money together for this year). We've decided to open a savings account and when we've got enough to do a last minute deal we'll do it, but we're not doing anything concrete as of yet:sad1:

We're going to California for a change, but still having a fix at Disneyland for a few days :cool1:

Wayne know what you mean about holidays my eldest has just started college, my youngest high school and I work in a primary our holidays are all slightly different :headache:

You know I looked at a really nice campsite in Salou for 2 weeks and to stay in a unit (albeit a nice one) was €2,400.00 add to that flights and hire car and tickets to Port Aventura and we were coming in at over €4000 for the Spanish trip, so for not much extra we could do Florida.

Same here. We're doing Christmas 09 for 3 weeks...£3000 staying at ASMo. But then there's park tickets, cruise, spending money!! :scared1: At least we have plenty of time to save :thumbsup2

Wideyes and princess jackson, when are you going?

I'm going from the 6th Oct to the 20th Oct. Will see you there!

We are going in April for 2 weeks.

Polynesian on-site and private villa both booked.
Universal and Disney tickets bought.
Money all ready.
Car hire and ADR bookings still outstanding.

Our next trip was going to 2010 as BIL is getting married in Chicago next year.
DH said we should tag on somewhere for the kids and that to me meant only 1 thing - Disney World
So we are heading back August next year, just deciding where to stay at the minute :confused3

aug 09 for our anniversary trip, hopefully staying at pofq.

Only just got back but need to book it already to get free dining!!

We have to go to the states every year .... and it would be foolis and stooopid to miss out Disney;)

so we're going July/August time : 2 days in Miami, 6 days Disney (probably at our fave WL), 7 days Boston, 8 days New York and the Hamptons.

depending on how much we like Universal when we visit this year - it might be 4 days only as Disney and WL, and 2days at the Hard Rock Hotel and US.

Oh yes, WDW her I come!!!

I've been planning this really since we returned in Oct 2006 but seriously planning since February 2007 (when I started collecting my flying club miles. Hhhmmm - but that's another story).

We are going mid August for 3 nights BC then 7 nights cruise, return for 12 nights AKL (I think we might try concierge, never done it before, I want to try the sunrise safari) and then 7 nights at the Poly. I am sooooo excited and the planning is half the fun:) :) :)
