So who is going to Disney for New Years 2007/2008?

Are any of the resorts fully booked for Christmas or New Year Yet?

No not at all. Some of the specialty rooms are gone like BWV, Standard View but most resorts will have avilability.

We stayed until 2am on the 30th at MK. On the 31st we stayed at MGM till 12:30am, but the kids stayed until 3am.

Our schedules practically matched this past New Year's. We were probably standing next to each other.

Bumping this up...only a few more weeks and we will be at SSR!

We are staying 12/26-01/02.

We are doing Universal Studios this year instead of the Disney Parks. The kids have never been to US and it will be a fun change.

I think we are going to hang around SSR for the New Years festivities...hopefully the weather will be good. I figure we can have the kids take a nap in the afternoon and stay up for the ringing in of the New Year. They are 5 and 7 (my older one turns 7 on Dec 13th).....they haven't stayed up for a New Years in the past, so this will be something really special for them.

Who else will be there?

We are still on for SSR, arriving 12/27 leaving 1/2......We are all so exceited! We sat around last watching videos from our laet trip. We all have it bad!

I will be at SSR 12/30 to 01/06. DW, DD, SIL, BIL and their daughter and son.
I am hoping for a dedicated 2BR in CP or GS.
We are going to be up early on the 31st. The kids want to ride Splash Mountain before it goes down for refurb on the 1st.

Does anyone know of anything special at akv? We will be there with friends from 12/30 - 1/4. We have dinner booked at Boma's, but not sure where after there. Any suggestions will be appreciated. We used to do NYE every year at OKW, but have not been for several years. thanks.

The MGM (DHS) NYE fireworks are a good time, more like a party atmosphere. Don't forget to go to MK on the 30th to see the "In the Round" New Year's fireworks a day early!

I couldn't decide which one I wanted to see on 12/30, so I asked my 8-year old. She voted for the MK so we'll be there too .

We'll be at the MK for NYE, staying at VWL. We've been to Epcot twice for NYE, this will be our first time at the MK. I guess we're feeling brave. Got ressies for Tony's.

Well, we are here.....

Ended up in "The Springs"....with a view of the small lake and fountain. GREAT location!

We were able to walk to the Community Hall, Pool, arcade, etc. Much better than last year at the Paddocks where we had to drive to everything!

Looking forward to NYE.....should be fun.

We will hang out here tomorrow...kids want to ride the Surrey bikes and go to the pool. Then it is off to Universal Studios for Friday and Saturday.

They are calling for rain on Monday, so that may be the day for Disney Quest (although we may do Sunday since it might be really crowded on Monday with rain)
