So, who is going for Christmas 2004???

I made my ressies at the Pop Century last December for this December 18 thru 23. You can blame the Travel Channel's Special on the MVMCP and all the Christmas decorations at the resorts and everywhere else there. That's all it took for me to pick up the phone. Have the dates come out yet for the MVMCP? I need to keep a watch out so I can HOPEFULLY get the last weekend for it.

My name is Tink61 and I'm a Disneyholic.
:teeth:

nope they havent come out yet....i havent made my reservations or my flights yet....i am sitting back and waiting....waiting for what i dont know...good flights i suppose...:smooth:

If you haven't been to Disney for Christmas you are in for a real treat!!!! The decorations are out of this world in the parks and the hotels and restaurants are unbelievable. The Christmas Processional can't be missed. The huge lighted archway over the bridge connecting World Showcase and Epcot changes lights with the Christmas songs. Oh dear I'm hyperventalating. Must sit down with my Mickey mug and read Birnbaum.

 Just returned from getting a D-fix at the local Dstore!! OH MY GOSH!! T-shirts for $2.62. . . Princess dolls 25% off $10+. . . Mugs 50% off -$4.25 . . . Of course DD had to get a Happy Dwarf as a best bud for her Dopey (they were not on sale - there goes my savings!) On Saturday we went and picked out TONS of stuff 50-75% off plus then if you spent $40 you got an additional $10 off. Well there were 3 of us; we each checked out and received $30 total off our purchases! Now THIS is how I love to Disney . . . .

Have been to the Kingdom 10 times - this christmas is a first. WE will be at the Kingdom Dec 5-10. I don't mean to sound silly but what codes is everyone waiting for? We only have our airfare booked out of Philly. Got a rate of $176.00 per ticket. Thought that was good. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to stay with an infant? Have a 10yo girl and a 5 mo girl..thanks and I'm so excited to be here....
Can anyone tell me how to add a counter? thanks

I just am so excited. I'm Steffy and I'm a Disneyholic too. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I made my Luao ressies and the confirmation came in the mail yesterday.

I still haven't opened the envelope. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I am into so much planning.. People here at work hate me already. All I talk about.

I don't know how I'm going to hold up for another 9 months.

 :Pinkbounc :bounce: :wave2: :wave2: princess: princess:

Momma I just booked this past weekend and got that rate to Orlando on US Air..now I'm trying to make accommodations..where are you located?b

Soooo excited that we will be going back this Christmastime!!!!! :jumping1:

Last year was the first time we were in the World during the Christmas season - just found out we will be going back this year!! ::yes::

We had a MAGICAL experience - everything from our stay at AKL to MVMCP to CP dinner. I am looking forward to this trip soooo much!!

Our anniversary is Dec. 5th. This year will be our 17th. We'll be staying at CBR. I just love the decorations and special events. Christmas will last a long time this year!!!:Pinkbounc

We're just beginning to plan our December trip and have a couple questions for all you Christmas regulars.

The last three years we were there Thanksgiving week which wasn't too crowded but I hear Christmas week is verrry crowded. My question is, just how crowded is crowded? Is it possible to go on rides without waiting in line for hours?

I noticed December is value season until 12/20 when it changes to holiday season. If you arrive during value season do you pay the value rate for entire stay or will your rate change to higher amount on the 20th? Thinking of staying at Wilderness Lodge, always wanted to stay there. Does anyone know what the AP rate was for WL last Christmas?

Thanks

My question is, just how crowded is crowded? Is it possible to go on rides without waiting in line for hours?

It is crowded...but depending on the time during Christmas ...some days are worse....Last year it really got unbearable from Christmas day on.....We entered early in the morning and left before lunch...

At times there were wait times listed longer then hours...but you won't find me waiting in them...

If you arrive during value season do you pay the value rate for entire stay or will your rate change to higher amount on the 20th? Thinking of staying at Wilderness Lodge, always wanted to stay there.
If your stay begins in value season then all your nights will be priced at value season..

Yes, that is a good price but my DH doesn't want to fly on usair. So, I'm going to wait for the Southwest prices to come out later this Spring/Summer ..

We'll be at OKW on December 5. I can't wait. We were there last December and there's nothing like being at the World at this time of year.

WOO HOOO EXCITEMENT IS IN THE AIR!!..oh i cant wait i cant wait....keep talkin...keep on a talkin..i love hearing everyones plans and hearing all about disney at that time of year....it cant get here soon enough..

thanks zurgswife, and I have to agree with you. I would never have the patience to wait in line for hours, think 30 minutes is more my limit.

Hi All!!!!

Hi Zurgswife!!! You mentioned that Southwest fares usually come out in Spring/Summer. Any idea exactly when?? I too am waiting for those!!!

Fellow Xmas travelers.......I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER....HELP ME...9 MONTHS AND COUNTING...:hyper:  :wave2:

:) 9 months seems like a long time today!!! Anyone else going to be at Wilderness Lodge? We thought that the atmosphere of Wilderness would be appropriate for a XMAS vacation at Disney. My DD8 keeps saying, 'Mom, there's an 80 foot fireplace there!'. Hopefully there will be AP rates for the value season thru the 19th so we can spend a little more $$ in the parks and less on the hotel.

Our only other tentative plans are possibly the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve and hopefully lunch or dinner at the Castle on XMAS day.

What are your plans???

I was suppose to be there. We are actually still booked to be there. But I am due with my 3rd child October 15th. I know some people say they are ok with taking a tiny baby, but I am not comfortibale with it until the child is 6 months old.

So, right now I have two options. I can get my mom to stay with the baby and go with my other kids or I can wait until April of 2006 and go then. Dh and I are tyring to decide now.
