So, who is going for Christmas 2004???

I also have the unique problem of DISNEYLAND!!! We let those AP's lapse, since I have two WDW trips planned this year, so I won't even get my miniature "fix" ALL YEAR!!!!

Whoa is me....whoa, whoa, whoa is me......LOL!!!!

Maybe I can convince DH we need those DL AP's anyway.....brain is churning...

Can I join you all?!! Our first family trip will be this December. We will be there from Dec. 6th thru 13th! Staying at the All Stars Movies. I have been planning this trip sinse 2001. We are going to celebrate our dd's 4th birthday there. I am driving my dh pretty crazy. He reminded me last night that we still have ten months untill we leave for WDW. What a bummer. Oh well tens months will go bye fast for us. We are in the middle of buy a home and it still needs to be built. That should get me through to the summer months, then it decorating that home will get me through until december.

We're going. I'm still trying to decide where to stay. We're leaving mid-trip to drive down to Captiva Island for some R&R. :boat: We'll be back at WDW for New Years.

We've been away from home for Xmas for the last 2 years. We spent last Xmas in Nashville & the year before in Phoenix. This should be our best Xmas EVER!!!

christmas 2004 folks....come on..i cant be the only one here ...we gotta stick together.........anyone else waiting to find out about all these specials coming out on march 9th..which happends to be my birthday??? ....our trips are far out..but we can all talk about our plans and our excitement...dont make me talk to myself...

We're leaving Saturday (March 6th) for a week, but then we will be going back December 17-22...I'm very excited about that trip because I just can't wait to see the parks and resorts all decked out for the holidays.

We aren't going at Christmas, but we will be there from December 11 to December 18. This will be our first family trip. I haven't been to WDW since the first year Epcot opened. DH and my boys have never been to Disney at all.

When we first planned to go they all moaned that we have 11 months to wait. Well, next week will be 9 months to wait.

I am more than excited.

We will be there 11-28-04 through 12-05-04 for our 25th wedding anniversary. Staying at the Poly and I to am looking forward to seeing all the Christmas Gala.... can't wait!

We are going for a family reunion offsite first at Thanksgiving (4 nights), then for a week to follow on-site! Can't wait. (Want the codes to come out so I can book my rooms). It's our favorite time of year to be there - the decorations are out, the parades are running, and the crowds are almost non existant (the week after Thanksgiving that is.

I'm a newbie to all these boards.. I need help planning our first trip for the Xmas Holiday, have been to disney several times, 2 moderates (PO) and 1 value.. ready to splurge for the Polynesian.. but my DH doesn't want to pay $250+ a night?! any help with discounts? We are planning for 12/3-12/7.. isn't this the "Value" season? Where do you get the $199 rooms?? Please help me.! I noticed alot of you say you already have reservations.. should I do this now through CRO and hope for a discount to come up? Thanks...

We are going for Christmas this year. It is our first time at Christmas. We plan on going the 17th or 18th and leaving on the 27th or 28th. I am a little nervous about the crowds but we have been enough I think that we won't be heartbroken if we miss something if it is too busy. I also thought it would be a good opportunity to do things we haven't normally done that have "controlled" crowds, like Cirque or Hoop De Doo. I just have to remember to make all my PS as soon as I possibly can. :) Have that marked on ALL my calendars. :)

I'm with you AdventureKat. Same dates. Staying Poly GVC. I too was nervous about the crowds, but I'm planning plenty of resort time this time. Time to enjoy the beach. Time to enjoy the pool.

My AP will burn a hole in my pocket and I'll probably return next year earlier when it is warm..

We have booked a trip with DInlaws for Dec 3-11th. Sure are anxious about any upcoming deals????? Did I read that there are supposed to be offers coming on March 9? We did the Fairytale package Oct 2003 - what a deal!!! Since the inlaws are going along this time we need to stay on-site again. The Dreamaker package is OK - but 7/4 deal would be GREAT!!!

Hi there...:wave2: yea some stuff is supposed to be coming out next week....your gonna be there the same days as us....geesh....i am like wishin the summer away already..but i cant wait to go again.....:hyper:

Cyndibelle,
We were there early Dec '97 , '98 and'02 and loved it! The decorations were magnificent! And there were NO CROWDS. Oct '03 we were originally sheduled for the same time period, but then the Fairytale package came out for Oct, so we changed our dates! We couldn't believe how different it was! Hot and muggy . .. (maybe we just didn't appreciate the warmth because it hadn't been so cold here yet in PA!) Also, I guess I'm spoiled, but I just couldn't stand waiting in the lines for the rides. I know that the lines are much worse during peak season, but the difference from Oct to the beginning of Dec was marked! Can't wait to go back. Hubby and I have started Ebaying to fund the trip. DD (4years) is sorting out her "baby" toys to sell sho she can see the princesses. I can't wait for March 9. Where is the best place to watch for this info? By the way, happy B'day (albeit a little early)

Never been in December, but we were there before during Thanksgiving. Wonderful weather, and overall the crowds weren't really bad until Thanksgiving Day. Our plans this year are to go during Thanksgiving and we're staying at the Pop Century since my DS insisted that we needed to stay there.
::yes:: :cool1:

We were there last December and were going back this December it is a great time to go...:wave2:

We will be at VWL 12/18/04 to 12/26/04. BCV 12/26/04 to 1/04/05. This year is our fourth year going for Christmas!! We would not feel like it's the holidays without being at Disney!
P.S. We are a famliy of five. My in-laws are comming with us. My husband's brother and his family are going too! Family of 6 So the total of all of us is13! :thewave: :thewave: :rockband:

We live in the Midwest and I'd be happy to SKIP SUMMER (if I could) so that it would bring Disney in Dec. here quicker!!!!!!!!

Do you guys think it's possible that the rates that are supposed to come out Mar. 9 could potentially be for Dec.? (or am I being too hopeful)?? :hyper:
