It seems a lot of DISers live near each other, but I haven't "seen" anyone on here from Orlando. I live across the street from Sea World....anyone else this close to WDW?

Well I am in Lakeland...I know where u live....I used to live in Casselberry, and I looked into moving i that area when I was looking for a new apt.

I used to own a comic store in Daytona with my ex called Coliseum of Comics. I'm now the manager of the Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee. It's a chain of 6 stores....1 in Daytona, 1 in Orlando, 1 in West Orlando, 1 in the Fashion Square Mall in Orlando, 1 in Kissimmee and 1 in Winter Haven.

Yes I am familiar with it...I never had a chance to get to it though. Whenever I am in Orlando...I usually am going to the parks or the movies..LOL..so going to the comic store is usually out of the question.

Haha, I drive right through Hunter's Creek to get to work everyday. It really is a Small World

I have SO MANY customers that work at the parks, it's unreal. You wouldn't believe how many Mickey/Minnie/Chip/Donald/etc. characters I know

I live up in Altamonte....just a short drive from WDW. When we moved here a year and a half ago, I wish I would of moved closer to the parks, I would love to work at AK someday.

My parents are moving to Orlando in the fall. I'll also be moving there, but while they hope to be there permanently, I'll only be there temporarily (I hope). Probably staying VERY close to WDW ... either the Vista Way complex or the Chatham complex.

Just moved from Kissimmee to South Clermont a year ago. I lived about 5 minutes away from downtown. How long has the shop been in downtown? My husband says he remembers it being on 192 just past the Checkers.

Yup, it moved almost 2 years ago. It's right next door to Augie's Deli and Game World, across the street from the police station.

My mom and stepfather live in Clermont....something about living on the highest point in Florida? They call it Sugarloaf Mountain. Don't know why
