So how many DISers are BBQing this 4th of July and what is everyone serving?

Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.

Since I'm on Weight Watchers we aren't going all out. They will have normal food and I'll have Garden Burgers and Garden Sausages.

I would love to have baked beans with hamburger meat, brown sugar, onions and peppers but OH THE CALORIES!

We are. On the menu is the usual hot dogs,hamburgers,kielbasa bathed in Jack Daniels barbecue sauce(yum,yum),sausage,peppers and onions and my macaroni salad that my family loves and husband says is blah. Then down the street to the water for the harbor illumination and fireworks.Have a safe and happy 4th of July everyone.

We haven't made any plans at all, except DS10's friend will be here that morning.

Still no food plans, firework plans or who will be here. We probably will try to decide tonight, but knowing us we won't make a final decision until tomorrow morning.

More than likely just burgers, corn on the cob and potatoes on the grill.

Some type of taco salad (a friend is bringing)

Well I am in NC so we'll be grilling - not bbq'ing . To us BBQ is something you eat - not something you do .

We're probably going to do burgers. We've been grilling out a lot - we just moved into a new house and got our grill from storage on Saturday. We did steaks Saturday night, chicken last night, and we might do hot dogs tonight.

I don't know what the menu is, pot-luck at the in-laws house. I know I am bringing my bean salsa, dip whatever you call it. We will probably have burgers and hot dogs.

As I posted before, we are going to a party. The menu is chili and sub sandwiches. Everyone brings a dish though.

DH is not happy about it.....he wants bbq on the 4th. He is thinking about smoking some ribs for today instead.

It's just the 4 of us for dinner. We're having grilled chicken sandwiches, macaroni salad, and corn on the cob. Dessert will be watermelon & root beer floats.

I'd love to hear about the beer can turkey!

Living here in England but from Vermont 4th of July is not really done here but just for a excuse to party the World Cup is still going and Germany plays Italy so we are having friends come over and we will fire up the gas grill and cook some hot dogs and burgers and make some potato salad and pasta salad, garlic bread and of course chili.

This year it's just my family. We're having:

Potato salad (Best Foods recipe, of course!)
Baked beans
Steaks (T-Bones for the special occasion!)
Hebrew National hot dogs for the kids
Corn on the cob
Undecided on dessert - probably make a couple of Keebler crust cheesecake pies

Doesn't get more American than that!

We will be hanging out at a friends house and BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad and baked beans. They have a fire pit so we are doing smores for dessert. The kids enjoy it and it will be a good time!

I'm at a vacation home in Orlando about a half a mile from Disneyworld! The house has a BIG outdoor George Foreman grill and a beautiful screened patio and pool. I just put on:

Sirloin Burgers
Turkey Burgers (for Mike )
Chicken hot dogs (for Mike)
Corn on the cop
Baked beans
Caesar salad
Watermelon
Apple Pie
