So which pope movie are you gonna watch?

There's one on ABC tonight, and there's one starring Jon Voight in 2 parts on Sunday on CBS.

The one with Voight sounds like the better one, though I do think its strange casting!

I'm watching both.

I am such a sucker for made for TV based-on-a-true-story movies, even if they are lousy! Besides, I do like JPII's life though, it fascinates me, so thats another reason to watch.

I'm not sure I will watch either. I felt such a connection to JPII (though I disagreed with him on many, many things), that it will be hard this soon after his death to see him portrayed. I truly think that he was such a holy man that it will be difficult for anyone to come near capturing his essence. Santo Subito!
