So, where are YOU having your WDW Thanksgiving Dinner?

Because I am meeting family the day after Thanksgiving in Ft Lauderdale, I decided to spend a few days before in WDW on my own. I'm from Seattle.
After many sleepless nights, I decided to do the Fantasmic dinner at Brown Derby at 3:50pm on Turkey day. I want to try to see the holiday lights.

Sounds like I won't be alone!!!

Which brings me to a question. Has WDW ever hit park capacity on Thanksgiving??

Have a great day

Susan

Someone posted on another thread that the MK has in the past, but I don't know about the other parks. I called WDW-DINE, and they assured me that with our PS#, even if the park closed, they'd still let us in.

We'll be having Thanksgiving dinner at Chef Mickey's ...8pm.
Has anybody eaten here for Thanksgiving before? How was it?

Breakfast at 1900 Park Faire - off to MK until early afternoon. Dinner at Brown Derby at 3:00, topped off with Osborne Lights.

We will be eating at V&A's it is a tradition that my whole family meets there for Thanksgiving!

Wow! I thought I'd see a lot more Liberty Tree Taverns on here! We'll be there at 5:30 on T-giving Day!! Can't wait!!

TXMommy - so did I. How early did you have to call on 9/29 to get your LTT PS? I did the CRT grabbing first, then LTT.

Travelitis -

I called as soon as they opened - in fact, I got my phone bill today and the "official" time that I got thru was 5:58 a.m. (Central Time). I was so happy! I have struck out with CRT before, and was so afraid I was going to strike out with this, but I didn't, so we're having T-giving dinner w/ Minnie and friends!!!

This whole trip is a surprise for our kiddos - they're going to be thrilled!!

Our family, including inlaws and my sister and her husband will be dining at Artist Pointe at 7:30. It also happens to be our 15th Anniversary so I wanted to dine somewhere special.
Last year we were at the California Grille and if anyone is dining there they definitely will not be disappointed.

What time at Gulliver's? (we're 5:30) Food sounds yummy and it looks like a neat spot, too.

We'll be at Artist Point at 8pm!!

T'giving is our non park day for the trip. We'll be doing mini-golf at Winter Summerland and then some time at Blizzard Beach, then maybe water mice :-)

We won't be at Gulliver's until 8:00. Does anyone have the menu so I can show it to my husband. I found it somewhere when I made reservations, but can't seem to find it again. Thanks:Pinkbounc

Just curious, where is Gullivers? What type of restaruant is it. It is one of the few that we have not heard of and who knows, we may want to try it in the future.

Here's Gulliver's menu:

The Thanksgving buffet, I believe is the only menu item on that day, but I could be wrong. The buffet consists of:

Turkey and ham carving station
Roast Pork and a Fish station
Soup and salad table
Sides, like mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies (traditional type stuff)
Dessert table

Sounded very yummy when the guy described it to me!!

There will be 10 of us at Jiko. It was described to me as Thanksgiving Dinner with an African twist? Not too sure what that means, but it dosnt matter we will be at Disney World!
