I am so afraid I will forget something. I have started packing things like sunblock and first aid and that little stuff. Clothes will have to wait of course. A little over two weeks left. Am I crazy starting to pack already.

I've been packing for a month now! As I come across something that needs to be packed, I chuck it into the bag, so we are not properly packed yet with clothes and everything, but I was so afraid I'd forget the sunscreen or ponchos that I've already got them in the bag.

We have alittle over two weeks too! I can't believe its so close. I have thrown some stuff into a small suitcase too, sunscreen, some travel size things I bought, ponchos, glow necklaces etc. I want to gather up sleeveless tops and bathing suits since its too cool here now for those but I really don't have a place for them where they won't get wrinkled.

We also have a little over two weeks. My suitcase is open on the floor and I throw a few things in everyday as I wash them etc. Then about two days before I'll write my checklist and triple check that I have everything!! I am a master packer!! :thumbsup2

oh, we've been packing for well over a month now. I started buying things little by little over the last 3 months or so and within a few days of buying the stuff I started throwing into the bags. I don't want to forget anything either!! :rotfl:And I've had to do all this in secret-(see the ticker:banana:)All thats left is the outfits we'll need!:cool1:
I think we're arriving on the same day thebeesknees!! :woohoo: YIPPY

I've had a large canvas Disney beach bag that I have been chucking stuff into haphazardly ever since we booked at 4months out.

We are leaving on Sunday (9/13) and I actually got the suitcases out and started really packing on Monday (9/7) after I had all the laundry clean. I have both my daughters' stuff packed already, with the exception of shoes. I also have our carry ons semi-packed. My husband & I probably won't finish our own packing until Saturday afternoon because I will most likely have to do another load of laundry first.

I start making my list two weeks out. Actually, I have upgraded this year and put my "vacation list" in Excel so I can just go back to it each time we go on vacation. But, anyway, I do the list two weeks out and then start the actual packing a week out. I'm behind this year because the baby had pneumonia over the weekend so I don't have a lot packed and we leave in three days.

I started about a month out, cleaning out my "vacation" box, making my shopping list, and packing up supplies, swimwear, etc. that we won't use before the trip. I will probably start on clothes in a week or two!

I started about 2 weeks ago putting a few things here and there in the suitcase. Like the travel shampoo, toothpaste and things like that I have bought. The week we leave is when I start really packing. Not much longer :)

I go overboard. When I take out the summer clothes from the closet, I will make a pile of vacation clothes and set those aside... for late Decemeber! Beats taking all the summer clothes back out and tearing though everything!

We're 3 and a half weeks out and I'm starting to make my mental lists. My DS's new Lightning McQueen roller bag came yesterday though!

We leave in less than one week. The suitcases are out now, but nothing is in them. We just came back from camping on Monday. Have to wash everything back up (family of 6- it takes a while to wash everything). I am still buying last minute stuff. Things will start to hit the suitcases on Saturday. Then, we'll be packing like crazy for a few days before we go. We actually leave the house on Tuesday afternoon for my mom's house, then fly out Wednesday morning.
I feel like I left it too late this time. I'm starting to panick that I haven't left enough time to pack. I work a lot this week, and with just getting back from camping over Labor day it just ended up that way. Hopefully it will work out okay. :)

We're staying in a condo so for about 3 weeks now I've had a tupperware bin that I've been throwing stuff in. (tp, paper towels, ponchos, etc) Today I packed DS and Middle DD completely. Oldest DD will pack her stuff tonight and I'll pack DH and I up tomorrow when laundry is done.

We pack the morning we leave, start an hour before we head to the airport.

If we are going to Europe, we give ourself a cushion and start packing the night before as we need to put a few unusual things in the suitcases for those vacations.

we leave in 11 days, and the packing has begun! I have a list of what is packed, and the list of what I want to pack...still picking up things, but really thinking about ponchos...the ones I have are SUPER CHEAP...do I upgrade? I got 2/$1. I dont really want to go overboard spending on ponchos...so what do you think?

Yep, I am also the last minute. If I pack early I will forget what I packed and what I need. If I do it the night I leave, I know what I packed.

We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow and I already have 1 suitcase completely packed. All DS stuff like diapers and sippy cups and then toilitries and stuff for us. We're planning on having that pretty empty for the trip back. Also started packing DS and my clothes, DH will have to take care of himself ;) I love starting to pack....gets me more excited!

Well, we're booked for January, still not entirely decided on our resort choice or whether we're just going to go to Disney or do a land & sea trip. But I already have a few things in the suitcase! Looking for things like swim goggles, sunscreen, summery clothes, and other warm-weather items in January is a frustrating lesson in paying full retail price. So I buy things now on end-of-summer clearance and tuck them away until our trip.

So no, I don't think starting to pack 2 weeks in advance is crazy at all! LOL

I am packing already. I know we are 93 days out, but I am putting new things in, and some of the new things I have bought. I have them hid in a tote in the basement.
