I still don't have a kitchen, we've gutted it out. I never thought I would actually say this but I am so sick of eating out! I was never really a big cook, but I am so inspired now!!
I still have no idea what we are eating for dinner tonight.

How do you cook those? I have always wanted to try them.

We are having cream of broccoli soup. I was supposed to be on jury duty today, but the trial was cancelled, so I went hope for a couple of hours before I went to work. While I was home I made the soup, did a couple of loads of laundry, watered and pruned my plants and picked up some of the kids' toys. So now I will have a clean house and dinner made when I get home - almost if I had a Mrs. Cleaver at home.

Denae

This is the recipe I use for my kids, since it has a bit of a sweet taste:

Mix 1/4 cup thawed, frozen orange juice concentrate, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons honey until well blended. Brush the glaze over the hens during the last 15 to 20 minutes of roasting.

I just ordered Pizza. I didn't feel like cooking tonight.

We are having BBQ'd ribs, french fried and beans or some vege. I have been slow cooking the ribs all day, inspired by the 4th of July cookout thread.

Chicken & Veggie Curry w/oven brown rice.

All the prep work is done, now I'm just waiting for DH to call and say he's on his way!

I'm just improvising with this one (I didn't get the recipe from a book, so I don't mind posting it :) ). I'm going to take frozen chicken tenderloins (between a 1/2 pound and a pound) and put them in a square glass pan, dump some pineapple chunks on them and pour some sweet honey catalina dressing on top. Then, I'll cover it with tinfoil and bake it at 350 until I can smell it (probably about 30 minutes or so). I'll post after dinner with specifics on times and how it was. :) Just making white rice and a pillsbury loaf to go with it (it's hard to find sides for sweet main dishes).

K, I cooked 1 pound of frozen tenderloins in a 13x9 glass dish (the square one was too small) and I cooked it for a little over half an hour- took it out b/c it was done and also boiling over into the bottom of my oven (it was fine at half an hour, but I left it in about 4 minutes after that, hence the boiling over)

Publix fried chicken and sides.

I have to tell you I love your picture with the Mom and sandwiches, it makes me smile everytime I see it.

My husband and son left today for a four-day-trip. My daughter and I will use the opportunity to eat a lot of junk food. I was thinking Taco Bell tonight.

Had dinner next door at my Moms. Yummy baked mac and cheese, with green beans, rolls and salad. :)
