Well 2008 nearly out what are you plans to celebrate new year of 2009, we are just having a family Wii night at home with all the new games DS got for christmas also guitar hero that DH bought with his christmas money, party food thanks to M&S deal and Champagne:goodvibes

Hope you all have good night and a fantastic 2009 to you all:banana:

Sounds like a great night you have planned Kerry, pretty similar to the one we will have.
We don't go out as Dd3 can't handle late nights. So we will be playing on the Wii as the girls got HSM Sing It+Dance It+Wall-E for Christmas.I bought Hubby the complete Guitar Hero Band Thingy-so we will be taking it in turns singing, playing the guitar+drums :thumbsup2 .Nibbles from Asda's(budget did'nt stretch to M+S this year :lmao: ),pickles, rolls, sliced maple ham, pringles etc..When the girls have gone to bed me+hubby will watch a film+have some ice-cream.Then about 11.50pm we will wake the girls and see in the New Year together, then go outside to watch the fireworks+the girls have sparklers each, then all off to bed.
Happy New Year Kerry,Craig+Adam  .x.
Happy New Year Everyone  .x.

I'm not really a NYE sort of person so mine will be spent with the dog on the couch watching The Muppet Show DVDs I got for Christmas and eating cheese and crackers with a bottle of wine, followed by chocolate cake washed down with a snowball (or three).

Around 11pm my boyfriend will ring me from across the Irish Sea and we'll chat until we bring the New Year in 'together' at midnight.

Then I'll give the dog a happy New Year hug and ring my parents in America, where it will be 7pm on the 31 December still, to wish them a happy one as well before taking a good book to bed and falling asleep.

All the best for 2009 to everyone! :grouphug:

We'll be on the Wii as well with 4 of our friends and lots of food and drink.

We are going to a party with the kids at the local soft play area :cool1: it was only £15 for a family ticket incl buffet

Wether we make it till midnight is anyones guess :rotfl2:

DH and I will be in with Jools' Hootenanny with some nibbles to hand and a bottle of fizz :drinking:
party: Have a great time, whatever you are doing party:

We're supposed to be driving up to Birmingham to see the New Year in with DH's family BUT I started to feel quite lousy last night and don't feel much better this morning (seems like the lurgy has caught finally up with me ) so I'm thinking we might stay in with Jools & Co too...

Happy New Year, one and all... :flower3: :grouphug: :flower3:

We will also be staying in playing the new games we got for the wii, may watch one of the new dvd's we got for christmas, have either a Chinese takeaway or party food (not decided yet), along with a glass of two of wine & maybe some Baileys. :thumbsup2

we will be staying in ad playing games etc

happy new year everyone :goodvibes

We are going round to my brother's for tea along with the rest of my family. He has two daughters who are only 3 and 1 and are highly entertaining (I love them to bits). Then we will come home and prepare some party food for us and usually my parents come down (they live in the same road) and see NY in with us. Playing with the Wii may be a good idea.

Happy New Year to you all.:goodvibes

We're staying at home but will have 2 new years as the youngest 2 kids could never stay up till midnight. so we sneakily put the clocks forward throughout the day and will celebrate about 8pm with them, they're usually in bed before 7 so they will think its late.
Then oldest ds and ourselves will play the wii and my parents will come down and stay for the bells but will probably go straight home after as my dad is working in the morning

another night in watching the tv or playing on the wii

buffet food for tea

have a great 2009 everyone

:cool1: :cool1:

going out for a curry and then onto our local pub to see in the NY. Then on NYD we are going for lunch at relatives

Happy New Year everyone

Taking Steve to work at 9pm (he starts at 10) then driving to my parents' to watch a DVD or 2 with my sister (parents are visiting some friends) and have dinner (lovely M&S corned beef hash) and nibbles. I'll be staying over there and leaving at 7:30am the next day to pick up Steve from work (he finishes at 8) All fun and games :goodvibes

Going out for dinner at 7pm with friends and their 2 dc (same age as ours), then back to theirs to play on the Wii/board games/ chat etc. The dc are in bed now for a nap so that they will hopefully make it to the bells, but if not they will go to bed. We will be heading home around 12.30ish.

Happy hogmanay everyone xx

That's just about us as well :) Although DW can't stand Jules Holland LOL

We usually see in the New Year with Jool's,but may give the televised live Elton John concert at the O2 a look at first :thumbsup2 -11-15pm on ITV.x.

My DH is working tonight, so a quite night for my DD's and I ;)
We'll be decorating the house ready for his 40th Birthday tomorrow :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :grouphug:

As I am due at work for 8am tomorrow morning it will be a quiet evening in with nice dinner and a glass of wine but not too late! Then tomorrow it will be time to see how many people I shall meet with hangovers and a dent in their wallet :teeth:

Claire ;)

Me either, your DW is a good judge of character. I love the acts he has on though:goodvibes
I have indirect experience of the horrible side of Jools. He has a bad habit of gobbling up property and shops in a part of Blackheath that my friends ran a restaurant in, he priced them out of their business:mad:
