I've noticed two new enhancements with the new computer system. The email confirmations arrive much more timely than the paper confirmations. This should be especially beneficial to members who live outside the United States. The new confirmations also use on a single confirmation number for the entire length of stay even if split stays are involved.
Another enhancement I've noticed with the new computer system is a more detailed confirmation response when maintenance fees are paid electronically. Last year I paid my MFs online and I received a confirmation email that just said "Thank you." In October 2010 we added on a few points and I paid my prorated MFs on the add-on. This time, I received a detailed confirmation email showing the date and amount of payment, the DCV contract number, and the last four digits of the charge card I used.
I hope that eventually the computer system will let members track wait list requests.
