So what will be your plan for AK now with the new ride?

We go in May and I was just wondering how to work AK now?? Should we go to Asia and get the fastpass for Expedition Everest and then go do the safari??? :confused3

We plan on getting there at opening!! Those are the hot two must do rides at AK!! So we would like to get those out of the way.

I have never done Kali river rapids and we want to do that this trip also!! Love Bugs life show too. :goodvibes

Just curious what everyones plans will be to make sure you get to ride EE. We will be there at opening on Memorial day! SCARY!!! ;)

I plan to head straight to EE, grab a fastpass and ride it, too. Then head to the safari and ride standby, which I figure will probably be about a 20 min. wait by then. Then go back for EE when it's time to use the fastpass. I think it will be a huge wait, like Soarin is, if you wait too late in the morning...

Our trip is in June and I am :scared1: just thinking about what AK will be like. They even extended the hours and AK is open until 8:00 pm when we are there. I think a good strategy would be to head to EE first thing for FPs. I haven't really come up with a good plan of attack yet--we have a couple of days with no parks scheduled so if we miss EE on our AK day we may come back for the EMH morning just to ride EE.

If it was me, I'd hit EE first. Then get a fast pass for EE, then go to the Safari.

I am guessing here, but EE will be the longest wait for ride in AK for years.

There first, without any doubt. Hoping I can get a soft opening when we're there in March

I'd love info on this as well. We'll be at AK in June. We're doing Donald's Breakfastasaurus at 9:00 and wondering where to send our "fastpass runner" first. EE or Safari. I'm thinking EE but I don't want a FP return time in the afternoon for the safari because that's when the animals are the least active. Oh such wonderful problems to have.

if last weekend was any clue, I've never seen AK so busy. and that was just AP's and DVC. I can't imagine what the summer is going to be like in that park. SGE and Soarin' previews were walk-ons. this ride is generating crowds. by 10:00 sunday the wait was 2 hours. it was hard to track FP return times, because CM's were just handing them out. if you want to ride EE, better run there first.

Our trip is during Easter. :crowded: :rotfl2:

I plan to use EMH. Get to EE ASAP :moped: pick up a FP, hop in the standby line.

In the past, during EMH, I've been able to get a second FP within an hour of getting the first one. If this happens with EE, pixiedust: I'll get a FP for the Safari next.

After the Safari, I'll grab FPs for Dinosaur, Kali, and ITTBAG, as soon as I can.

After two rides on EE, (standby and FP) we'll use the singles line.

Now I need to figure out a plan for evening EMH. :surfweb: :listen:

Great thread! I'm hoping EE will have cooled off by the time we go in September. Not saying I'll be brave enough to ride it, I'm thinking just in case.

Donald's Breakfastosauras
And then a mean and nasty coaster? Just let me know what seat are in so I don't sit in front or behind you. :lmao:

I think ExEv will draw extraordinary crowds into AK, and mostly into the ExEv queue. I think for at least the next couple of years the convetional wisdom will be to make a dash for EE as soon as the park opens. (Now I just have to eschedule another trip so I can make that dash :teeth: )
