I am sure there is prob. a thread on this like usual but I could not find it. I did not get on here yesterday at all due to moving computers all around the house and putting things together.

My lovely dd8 woke me up at around 1:30am!! UGHHHHHH! The wost of it was I had JUST fallen asleep....you know that "instant" you 'fall off the log'... and she did not wake me up witha gentle little tap either. She came in and shook mw with such force and a loud MOM!!!!!!WAKE UP!!!!!!!! It scared me to death(almost) and I thought we were being robbed or something. I flew up out of the bed screaming!!!!!

Anyway...dh stayed asleep dd and I did the Santa thing and then we went to bed again and they woke me at 7:30 to open presents from under the tree.

I am still tired!!!!!!!! LOL!!!

LOL - Mine woke up at 2:45 - I made them go back to bed and finally gave in at 4:00 am and we all got up to open presents -LOL

They are still sleeping now - I should go inthere and say " Merry Day After" time to getup and clean!! LOL

I finished wrapping at 4:00 and my oldest DD was on the computer with her back to me because she had oral surgery the day before and couldn't sleep. The great thing was youngest DD got up at 9:30.

My kids woke up at 6:30 - this was after them being up until 10:30, and us up until midnight. Not too bad, but I was still tired all day.

This morning - well, they are still asleep now - its' 9:40

my son got up at 1:09, but eventually went back to bed, then he got up at 6:55 and stayed up. My daughter on the other hand had to be woken up at 9:00.

DD woke up at 7:30 a.m. I woke up at 8 a.m. I walked into the living room and found her sitting on the sofa cuddling with one of our cats stareing at the tree. She had put the Christmas lights one. They looked so cute I couldn't resist and I ran to get my camera. The second I snapped the picture Missy our cat leaped off the sofa. :rotfl2: sure hope I caught her in the picture.

we celebrated on the 24th. But the night before we just couldn't sleep. We stayed up watching movies. I woke up after maybe an hours sleep to my uncle standing over me like "wake up" then I went and got my mom. I woke her up with, "you are hte only thing standing between me and presents. now wake up!" ;) Then my grandma woke up and we did started opening at about 5.

My wonderful brother (who's 27 by the way) gets up at 5:30 everyday like clock work was sitting in the family room watching tv waiting for the rest of us when he sneezed. Well he set off the glass break detector on the house alarm. So the rest of us were jolted awake at 7:33am to the sound of the horn going off. My youngest sister is 10 and she can really sleep so we were all happy just waiting for her to get us up but you can not go back to sleep after the alarm sounding. I guess we also probably woke up the rest of the culdesac if they weren't already awake.

they were up at 530, but had instructions that they could do their stockings until 6, then wake me up.

they actually got up, had breakfast, and then started the stockings...they got about 1/2 way through when i heard DD9 yell, hey its 6 lets go get mom up LOL

They played with their toys till 9, then went to their dads, and were up late, and up early yesterday......they'll be pleasures today I'm sure!

well I was up before anyone...but DD didn't get up til 8:30 and the baby wasn't up til later though!

We finally got DS to got to sleep about 1:30 am, after we finished putting out the presents from Santa and filling the stockings it was after 2:00. He woke up a little before 8:00. Had to wake DD up, she wasn't very cooperative at first but I told her that DS was going to get all her presents from Santa and she popped out of the bed.............

My kids got up at 7am, not too bad as they get up around then every morning. DH were sleeping and next thing we knew, dd6 was standing over DH yelling Happy Birthday (christmas baby) and SANTA CAME SANTA CAME. So they had been downstairs already I would suppose. Baby was awake too surprisingly as he usually sleeps in.

I would give anything for my kids to wake up at 130 am. I was up at 530 and had to wait till 8 aM for the kids. I just sat in front of the tree and wished they were little again. They are 22 and 18 and I would give anything to be awakened at 4, 3, 2, or even 1. Enjoy it because it will be no time at all till YOU need to wake them up!

I was making noise outside my DD6's bedroom at 6:15. We had church at 10:00 and then she had to go to her bio-dad's in the afternoon. so I wanted to make sure she had plenty of time to drink in the idea of the surprise trip as well as play with her toys.

I went to bed at 1:00 a.m. Christmas morning after watching most of that modern Christmas classic "Van Helsing." At 1:30 my DD7 was up throwing up. Got her cleaned up and back to bed. Half an hour later, more of the same. Lather, rinse, repeat.

She's fine now and slept most of Christmas day. Just a touch of the flu.

My oldest woke up at 7:30 and woke his brother up.They went and got DD6 then they proceeded in terrifying the baby by screaming "Santa is here".
