so what kind of candy are they giving out at MNSSHP?

I've read that the stations are sponsored by Goofy's Candy but on the park map, Nestle Crunch, Nestle Butterfinger, and Wonka are listed as sponsors.

When we went in 1997 (our first trip), we got filled up with Nestle products and only Nestle products. Last year, we had all sorts of stuff (kind of like the large size bags they sell at Target or Wal-Mart with all kinds of candy in them for Trick or Treat). Tootsies, candy bars, M&Ms, etc.

We just went on Friday and got the following:
twix
skittles
tootie rolls (all flavors)
starburst
milky way
snickers
butterfingers
laffy taffy
tootie pop suckers (mini)
plain and peanut m&m's
take 5
crunch (milk and white chocolate)

That's all I can remember now.

No you don't have to be in coustume. The candy is very good, I think they must have gotten a special on Take 5 because we have about a million of them.

When we did it a few years back we got alot of those Nestle chocolate balls with the candys in the middle. My kids thought that was great. I was suprised at how much candy we actually got. We also didnt have costumes because it was before I started "planning" my trips. We didnt know about the party until we got to the park that day. We decided close to park closing that we didnt want to leave so we bought the the tickets then. The kids had the best time though because it was like an extra treat they werent expecting!!

I am actually not a big candy person, I enjoy it once in a while, but I love Halloween BIG TIME. I am hoping to get a ton of candy tho so I can bring it home to my little nephew and tell him its from Mickey...of course his father (my bro in law) will likely be the one to eat it all :rotfl:

The BEST place to get candy is the trail from the back of Toontown along the railroad to Space Mountain. It has characters and plenty of candy stations. Last year, I loved the big chewy Sweet Tarts. My son and I traded for them many times.

Last year, on the party night we went to, they had so much leftover candy that they were stuffing our bags full as we left through the turnstyles. Last year it was a lot of Nerds and Toll House cookie bars, but in years past, its been other stuff.

My kids love the trick or treat bags. Well, I do too... I like to pack my lunch in them so I get a little smile mid-day thinking back on the trip.

Oh I can't wait! I am also big Halloween fan and trick-or-treating in the MK can't be beat! We did this in 03 and I am so excited to be going back! MVMCP in 04 didn't compare to the Halloween party.

Laffy Taffy - my favorite, closely followed my Tootsie rolls (esp. the flavored ones), and I love the chewy Sweet Tarts too!

YEA!

We went Friday night to MNSSHP and it was great! They were giving out TONS of candy and good stuff too! We didn't even hit all the candy stations and our bags were full. :rotfl: While we were waiting for the parade (and during the parade too) CM's were running up and down the street putting candy in people's bags. My girls were in heaven. :goodvibes Some of the candy the girls got during the party were:

Snickers,
Milky Way,
Sweet Tarts,
Nerds,
M&M's,
Twix Bars,
Tootsie Rolls,
Smarties,
3 Muskateers Bars,
Nestle Crunch,
Tootsie Pops,
Foil Wrapped Chocolates,
Babe Ruth,
Butterfingers,
Hershey's Take Five bars,
Laffy Taffy, etc.

I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea. My girls are going to have to hide their candy from me.

We went on Friday night, our first time. My oh my it was fun fun fun! We came home with literally 10lbs of candy. Each of us (5 of us) had a bag full to the top and then on the way out a CM handed us 2 more already FULL bags. I'll post a picture later of all the candy we put on our bed in a pile, whoa! LoL.

I can't believe how many different types of candy there were... all kinds of chocolate bars, m&m's, sweet tarts, smarties, lollipops, tootsie rolls, fruity chews and on and on.

I am so jealous this is my first time in 4 years I haven't been to MNSSHP! You better think that we'll be there next year.
