My DM is flying in tomorrow for a week (DD b-day is the 29th, so spending both with us) and our friends with their 3 kiddo's are coming over Sunday for dinner so I will have a full house!

We are driving to my parents house tomorrow after lunch. Should be an interesting drive- it's almost 4 hours from us (and no, that doesn't put a dent in driving across the state ;) ). My dad is a pastor and he is leaving his church (they don't know it yet) and retiring so... this may be one of the last times that I hear him preach. Unless God has other plans...

We will be enjoying family time at home... I'll cook our traditional big dinner but otherwise we will be watching basketball and mommy will be scrapbooking.. A good time to be had by all!!! :)

To everyone traveling.. have a safe and wonderful trip!!!

Not much.
DH is leaving, mom and DS11 are coming home. MIL might be getting out of rehab this weekend and DBro's girlfriend is going on a retreat to a monastery.

I really need a revolving door on my house! LOL

I will be cooking ham, green bean casserole, and sweet potatoes. YUM!

I'm cooking dinner, guess I need to do some grocery shopping.

Field day is today at school. Tomorrow Stone and I will take flowers to Virg's grave and read the Easter story. Stone is going to the Clark's Sunday for an egg hunt all to himself. I will be doing some FlY lady stuff and trying to get the completed page swap finished. I fear I may end up overnighting.

We will be at Disney Hollywood Studios all day, and having "Easter dinner" at DH's favorite, Cape May! :)

AWM--I hope you have a safe trip!!

Brooke, you win! Your plans are the BEST!!

I'll be doing a huge dinner for us plus DUnc and DS19's cute GF. House full...ham, turkey breast, sweet potatoes, cole slaw, zucchini, stuffing, etc...

Everyone traveling have a safe and happy!!!

SIOH can i come with you!!!!! i love cape may!!!!

i am having everyone at my house. 10 people. and we are doing turkey this year and not the usual ham. (mom requested turkey) and i'm thrilled, because i'm not really a ham person. but with turkey you need all the fixings!!!!! oh boy. good thing i'm only working till noon today. got lots of cooking to do. i have dh on a "hunt" right now for texas toast bread. so i can make the puffed french toast from the crystal palace. i'm thinking i might try adding some apple pie stuff inside for a change.

have a nice easter everyone. be safe and enjoy.

ashley-enjoy you dad's sermon. i'll bet it will be a good one. and 4hrs is not across the state- it only takes me an hour to cross my whole state!!!!!!

Yup, I agree, SIOH wins the best plans award. Hmm, it's only another 11 hours or so, maybe I'll join you. :rotfl2:

Traffic was heavy, but everyone was doing 5-10 above the speed limit, so it was a fast drive here.

After I check up on the rest of the threads, I have a swap to work on.

I'm not sure what the Easter plans are other than church. Which I forgot to pack for. Good thing MIL wears her clothes big, so I can borrow something.

We are hiding in our home, just the two of us. Normally we'd have family over but Scott finished work yesterday and starts his new job in the new city on Tuesday so from now on life will be very different. We just wanted a "normal" weekend together that didn't involve him driving ages to come home.

We will also be eating LOTS of chocolate - or at least I will!

It may be small but you're a smart bunch apparently. I saw a diagram earlier that listed all 50 states by the residents' average intelligence. CT came top!

I thoroughly enjoyed being with my parents. Everyone at church was coming up to me telling me how much they love my parents which I know will make it hard for them to leave. But I am, selfishly, excited because when they move they will be 25 minutes from me!

Wow, an hour to cross the whole state... hmmmm an hour wouldn't even get me to Dallas or Houston.
