I love Jonathan Kellerman! I also have read ALL of his. John Grisham's too! I've read both of those.

Have you ever read any of the books by Kellerman's wife, Faye? They are pretty good too. Most are also a series.

I did not like Fayes book. She put a lot of selacious sex in there, like she needed to spell out all the details type thing.

I don't need three pages of it! It came across like she was really trying to prove it to the readers.. Jonathons style is much more refined and the characters are definetley more defined, and not so well "cut-out"

Well book group was a HOOT last night.... We usually spend at least one to two hours discussing the book..
Founding Brothers was a complete flop... 20 min.. max literary discussion...LOL.
We did have a good time with our ice cream and cookies tho!!!

I suggested all of your books but group chose two others one a murder mystery and the other was "Step Ball Change". {I think}
Anyway, I am going to pick up several of the books you all talked about.. especially "Good in Bed" that is on my list for sure. I shall go to Barnes and Noble, grab Life of Pi and skim over it first.

You all have been so kind, patient and forthcoming with your favorites and topics. Thank you again!

Reading is fundamental! ;)

I just finished "Plain Truth" by Jodi Picoult, about a young Amish girl who has a baby out of wedlock and then is charged with murdering it. It was good. And I, too, will put in a vote for "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I read that one when we were on vacation.

Here are some of my favorites I've read over the last 6 months or so:

Good In Bed & In Her Shoes - Jennifer Weiner
The Lovely Bones & Lucky - Alice Sebold
White Oleander
The Nanny Diaries
Watermelon - Marian Keyes (all of her books are great)
I Don't Know How She Does It - Allison Pearson
Anything by Alice Hoffman is good
She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb
