Click on the User CP link at the top of the page at http://www.disboards.com Once you get there, there is a link for Buddy list. That is where you add your buddies. If you haven't added any buddies, there won't be a list yet.

I don't have anyone on my ignore list. (well one person, but it isn't offical, I just decided not to pay attention to her. )

That's how my ignore list works too. My buddy list works the same way. There are some posters who I just pretend don't exist - I just skip right over their posts in a thread. There are other posters who I look for because their posts are always so fun to read. As far as the "official" lists go, sorry...I'm clueless. Looks like I have plenty of company though.

phamton, thank you for posting that. When all else fails read directions. However maybe the "buddy list" is not working right now. It doesn't give me anything other then the people I added, nothing about them.

Here I am reading through this thread, cracking up and I see my name. Now I'm really laughing, but trying not to be too noisy or my DH will ask me what's so funny.

And you know from a certain other thread tonight that I'm in a very snarky, albeit not the #10 kind of snarky, mood.

I've never put anyone on my buddy list (i'll try that now) or my ignore list. I've come close recently with my ignore list, but I'm too curious and wouldn't want to miss something juicy or snarky that is being posted.

So how many people do I have to put in my buddy list in order to have someone deliver a cake?
