Late to the party as usual, but excited to hear about your trip. It's wonderful that you got some one on one time with your dad. I had to laugh about your first trip waaaaaay back in 1991 when you were five. I graduated from college in 1991

Heehee ... am I one of those with the 1000's of pictures? I love taking tons of pictures because I get to relive the moment every time I see it. I get this little rush of excitement knowing I captured the perfect (well, perfect to me ) shot. My pictures last much longer than my memories do.

LOL, I wasn't thinking of anyone in particular. I always enjoy seeing a lot of pictures, and I totally understand WHY we always take tons. There is one from this trip of the castle that I really want to get like an 8x10 print and frame it because it just makes me happy.

I keep forgetting about that!

Do they still sell that stuff? I should look. I think it was kind of expensive though. Hey, you could ask for some of it as wedding shower gifts.

Oh, I love the Animal Kingdom. I'm so excited to tell everyone about the Backstage Safari tour that we did. It was awesome.

I always check the carpets for hidden mickeys as well So cute!

The Resort bedding was at JCPenney. I just checked and it doesn't seem like they have it any more. I got it as a wedding present - the Polynesian one since that's where we got our pictures taken and where we stayed on our honeymoon. It's cute, but actually kind of looks cheap and has no "Disney" touches (i.e. hidden mickeys)

I forgot to mention we got a Disney surprise today! Well, I guess it wasn't REALLY a surprise since we knew it was coming but it's still kind of cool! When we were in Disney World Dad had been eyeing up these popcorn bowls at the World of Disney store. I saw them when we were there in August and told him he should buy them (we like to have popcorn on our TV nights, hehe!). We never did. Then again in January he was looking at them...still didn't buy 'em. Finally on this trip he decided to go ahead and get them. We had them shipped home since it wouldn't be very easy to get the box back. The lady said it would take about 2 weeks but we got it today! Aren't they cute?! It has one bigger bowl and then 4 little ones. They now sell them on the Disney Store website.

So that was one of Dad's souvenirs from the trip. Just thought I'd share. Hopefully I'll have another update tomorrow.

I pointed those out to Weird at Mickey's Pantry at DTD! I said it'd be cute to have if we ate popcorn, haha. Weird's not that big of a fan. Plus, we don't have our own house now, so only one of us would keep it. Take a picture when you and your dad use it for the first time! I can live vicariously through you. For some reason, it's really fun to see Disney merchandise in use
