Thats settles it! I was bald until I was about 2. Maybe this is why I turned out so weird! If only we had baby bangs back then...

When my DS11 was a baby, he was mistaken for a girl every day. It didn't matter if he was wearing a blue t-shirt with a pick up truck on it, it still happened. I couldn't have cared less when someone told me what a beautiful little girl he was, half the time I didn't even bother to correct them. They are strangers, what do I care?

Sorry, I think the headbands and pink bows stuck onto girl babies' heads are silly, too.

My daughters both had full heads of hair and both were thought of as boys on occasion.....on the oldest I think it was the "tail" she had from birth. You all remember when rat tails were all the fashion for guys?? well, oldest was born with one that was about 4 inches longer than the rest of her head. I even cut it off at 3 days old....in 17 years that part of her hair still grows exponentially faster than the rest.

and I also agree that I don't see a reason for the headbands or bows (not that they would have stuck in the thick hair)

There was a SNL commercial where it was baby boys, but they got toupees.

I guess if you feel your baby really needs hair...
