So what do you think about Baby Bangs?

Just what DD needs...a wig.

People will buy anything.

She is nearing 2 and finally has some hair. She didn't until 18 months or so. No one thought she was a boy when she was little and it certainly didn't bother me that she didn't have hair. I can't believe that would actually bother people. Her hair, or lack there of, was a complete non-issue.

It's creepy and way too expensive.

It's scary how much crap marketed to moms is out there now, usually by some other mom trying to make a quick buck at home.

I hope baby pushup bras arent next.:rotfl: it really is rediculous!

I think they're a little creepy...LOL
I think those babies look much cuter in their "before" pictures. :lovestruc
Why wait until her teens to give a girl a complex about all of her imperfections?? Let's start them when they're infants!! :headache:

Well they do have baby high heels..

eh..I think I will stick with the little pink bow and a glop of Karo syrup.

However, now that DD is a college gal, she may not look to fondly on Mom trying to stick bows in hair with High Fructose Corn Syrup products.

That was just ridiculous looking - I prefer babies without faux bangs. It doesn't make a difference if strangers think they are a girl or boy - you could dress the baby in ALL pink and people would still ask if SHE is a boy. That has happened with my niece.

My dd had hair and could be dressed head to toe in pink and it NEVER failed that someone would say "oh he's so cute! How old is he?" I just answered "she's ___ months" and went on about my way. I don't remember being that torn up about it. :confused3

haha! that's hilarious. and the baby toupee... i cracked up at that picture! thanks for the laughs today :goodvibes

Our DD sure could have used some 'hair' at that age. lol Poor thing kept getting her head shaved due to surgeries. However, even when we tried just putting a headband with a bow on her, there it weeennnt.....She would take them off just as fast as we put them on her! rofl That would really have been wasted money. :)

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Seriously that is just wrong.

It won't scar them for life to be called "he". DS survived being called "she" (he had blue eys, red hair and ringlet curls"

SIL was bald until she was five. She survived and has beautiful long hair down to her butt. No hairpieces needed.

It never ceases to amaze me the useless things that people invent....and the people who will buy them . "Baby Bangs" for that baby with everything but hair.....I feel sorry for the poor baby having that put on thier head .

When my DS11 was a baby, he was mistaken for a girl every day. It didn't matter if he was wearing a blue t-shirt with a pick up truck on it, it still happened. I couldn't have cared less when someone told me what a beautiful little girl he was, half the time I didn't even bother to correct them. They are strangers, what do I care?

Sorry, I think the headbands and pink bows stuck onto girl babies' heads are silly, too.

Our hospital used KY Jelly for the bows-no HFCS in that. :lmao:

I think babies with too much hair, real or otherwise, look odd. Babies are SUPPOSED to be bald or close to it. I think a parent that would buy something like this would consider their baby a fashion accessory vs a child :sad2:.

My baby doesn't have a lot of hair, but she has hair. I love to spike it and people always comment on her hair.

I think knowing if it is a boy or girl depends on the baby. My current baby, looks like a girl. My oldest DD, looked like a baby, you couldn't tell by looking at her if she was a girl or boy. My nephew has looked like a little man since the day he was born.

I would never buy my baby a wig. Or the high heel shoes, but they are pretty funny.

My kids were late to grow hair, but I can honestly say it never bothered me.

There's something wrong with a person who can't accept their little bald baby. :sad2:
