So even though I lamented over paying more than double the cost of the last dessert party we attended, I decided to suck it up and pay so we can have a less stressful viewing of Happily Ever After. Last time we went, we foolishly ate dinner at Pecos Bill's too close to the party and were still too full to really partake of many of the desserts (plus it was freezing). We will be having an early lunch around 11:30 and the dessert party check in time says 7:45 pm so we will obviously will be eating something before the party (also we plan to take a break at our resort-CSR). I feel like I would be in a sugar coma if I came on an empty stomach
. For those of you who have been to the dessert parties just wondering what time and what do you eat before a dessert party?

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. I am really not a dessert person either (I'd rather apps over dessert--or a bag of chips--salty things are my weakness lol) the party booking was more to see the fireworks stress free than pig out on sweets. I know I won't eat my money's worth (especially now that it's not longer $25) but I just didn't want to be stuffed like last time. I think sharing something not too heavy around 4:30-5 is a good idea.
