So what do you drink?

Is the flavor splash water anything like the flavored Dasani waters? I tried them and couldnt drink them. I dont like Aquafina either. Where do you find the turkey hill diet green tea? is that refridgerated or on the shelf?

NO it's SOOOO much better-dasani flavored water is awful...the turkey hill green tea is refridgerated, but it may be an east coast/northeast thing since I believe it is manufactured in PA?

Pepsi, until Topamax killed it for me!!! Tava, LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!!! Water, all day, and coffee all day.

As for non carbonated beverages, I would say gatorade is my favorite. I usually grab a bottle or two if I have a ton of errands to run and I know I won't get a lunch.

I am so with you there on the Topamax...but I kept going and now the "flat" taste of it is normal to me!

Diet Pepsi addict here, but I've cut back to 2 or 3 cans a day. I down a 32 ounce bottle of water with an Emergen-C packet or 1/2 a cup of OJ diluted mornings on the way in and when I first get to work. The Vitamin C fix tends to help. Plus if I use an Emergen-C packet, I trick myself with the fizz.

But with me it's been an adult life battle. I've gone cold turkey numerous times since I became an addict living in the college dorm. I always go back, then work my way up to 7 or 8 cans a day before I start cutting back. :upsidedow With me a can of Diet Pepsi or Diet Mountain Dew usually gets rid of the migraine. I'm sure that because of psychosymatic reasons.

Wanted to say I absolutely love the Alan Jackson song you have quoted in your signature. I watch the video on You Tube often :lovestruc

Me too.. Reminds me of my late DH.. I had the words "Remember when.." engraved on his headstone..:lovestruc

I drink caff free diet pepsi. I love it.

Me too, OP!!! Just love C.F. Diet Pepsi!!! I was so surprised this week (where have I been) to see all the new packaging for PEPSI products!!! :yay:

I have at the most 3 cans a day. Then it is water, water, water. I fill up a Nalgene bottle and work on that all day long. I have my Nalogene with me 24/7!! I have finally convinced my 23yo DS to try to cut back on all his "reg" soda drinking and more towards water!!! ::yes::

I do drink allot of tea and try to make sure it is caffeine free. :thumbsup2

To all of you who drink very little water, remember your kidneys need the water to rid you body of the non beneficial elements. It is documented as well that those who drink a lot of cola based sodas are more prone to kidney stones.

Moderation folks. Honestly. I drink about 2 cans of coke or less a day. I drink about a quart of home brewed decaff iced tea a day and the rest is filtered ice water from my fridge. I don't drink coffee and I am supposed to avoid hot beverages due to my rosacea. I am so used to drinking room temp or cold drinks I don't miss them. I sometimes have a hot cop of tea or cocoa.

So, mix in a lot of plain old water into your diet. If you don't like tap use a filter like Brita. It does make a difference. Toss in a squirt of lemon juice or a drop or two of a flavoring if you like. Water down your juice or koolaid.

BTW, I get headaches from aspertane too so I use about two rounded spoons of sugar in my quart of iced tea. Just a little sweet. I can't stand the bottled teas because they are way to sweet.

Water. Coffee in the morning. Chai tea at night (love that stuff)

I keep trying too LOL I Love my Pepsi!

Oh man I hated Topamax - it made me feel like a zombie AND made all sodas taste like boiled dirt. Even after I finally got off the Topamax it took 6-8 weeks before soda tasted somewhat normal again. It still tastes a tad flat to me but not nearly as bad.

OP - I see you are in MD. Up here in Harford County, I have seen the Turkey Hill beverages at CVS in their cooler but haven't tried them.

I drink water, water with lemon, Diet Caff free diet pepsi or coke (about one can every other day or so) and Orange juice. Sometimes I mix the OJ with seltzer or ginger ale but I drink a TON of OJ. As in more than two 128 oz containers a week. Natural sugar but still I drink too much. I hardly get a cold though and I honestly think that plays a big roll in it.

ETA: I sometimes have tea or light coffee in the morning but I don't touch caffine after Noon.

I start with three cups of coffee in the morning, follow that with a 10 am coffee, change over to water until 3 pm, then a mid-afternoon coffee before leaving work. When I get home, the big dilemma is will it be iced tea, lemonade, or chardonnay pre-dinner:woohoo:

I drink a glass of OJ everyday and I swear the vit C keeps me healthier too. :confused3 If my glands hurt (which they normally do before I get something) I really bulk up on the vit C and within a day, the pain is gone and I'm back to normal.

I drink Diet Coke. Period. As in that is ALL I drink ALL day. OK, occasionally I will have a bottle of water, or a small glass of juice or milk. I have two cans of DC before I leave the house in the morning. :lmao: I would guess the minimum I drink in a day is six cans - usually more.

I am 40 - if aspartame was going to kill me, I am very confident it would have done it already!

Me, too! Diet Coke all day long. I try to drink the Caffeine-free since I have insomnia, but drink regular Diet Coke if that's all that is available.

I'm 54 and still alive! I do have health issues, but nothing I can relate to my Diet Coke.

Ever since Topamax killed beer and Pepsi for SharkyGoddess I no longer get those (but I miss them and do occasionally have a Pepsi). My day starts with coffee - two cups before I leave for the day, then it's coffee all day at work (at least 4 cups), and then one more coffee for the road.

Evenings/night is tea, water, and the occasional Pepsi (but only 3 this last 2 weeks).

I can't wait to find out why Topamax is killing Pepsi and beer - for that I hate the Topamax but it helps her so I will deal with it.

I like Diet Pepsi and I buy a 32oz one everyday at lunch. I make sure to drink my OJ every morning and some water through the day.

I had taken juices out of my diet because of the calories. I slowly putting them back in. Cranberry, grape and orange are delicious juices. I also drink a lot of coffee, not so much tea and water. Milk and hot chocolate are also treats.

Coffee, water, iced tea (non sweetened), diet cola, wine, beer--different amounts on different days, but I am working on drinking more water and cutting my coffee to one 16 oz cup in the morning.

I do drink plain water but I don't like it, so I usually mix a glass of water with about and ounce or even half an ounce of something tasty like grape juice, lemonade, or pomegrate-blueberry juice. Minimal calories but makes the water palatable.

(In truth, I also drink one real, full-calorie Coke per day, tea with honey, maple syrup, and half-and-half every morning, and an occasional adult beverage in the evening :rolleyes1 , but the above is in response to your low-calorie request :) ).

I like cranberry-raspberry juice too! Also, I really like Dole Strawberry Kiwi juice. Plus plain old water with a squirt of lime juice. I much prefer lime instead of lemon. :thumbsup2
