ok, I help run a store for the world's #1 sports and fitness company. But it is more fun to just say that I sell shoes.

I also teach marching band and winterguard a little bit. Not as much as I used to, or as much as I would like to.

I married well. My partner and her family acquired a Real Estate Empire, about five years ago they sold their 26 unit building and bought into what's called Tennant In Commons (TIC), when the economy is good and the buildings (offices, apartments, & retail shopping centers) they pay a revenue stream, when it's not good, we starve. We also have three buildings with a total of 11 units for rental, however, my DPs aging father never really did real maintenance on these units so now that he's dead, we've dropped a ton of cash (CC for Disney points) upgrading circuit boxes, upgrading refirgerators, stoves & dishwashers as the tennants (who had been there over 5 years, some 20 years) left last year.

For a long time all i did was go collect the checks from the rent boxes, for the last six months, I've done open houses, painted apartments, met appliance delivery guys, dealt with heater replacement, you name it, I think I'm learning it! And all this for a femme who just knows how to cook!

I still can't complain becuase I don't have to get up early in the morning.

I work as an Operations Manager for the local branch office of a major US brokerage firm. I basically oversee and supervise the activities of over 50 financial advisors and their assistants to make sure that all laws and ethics are followed.

It is a dream job, and I love doing it, even though some days I want to strangle my employees that don't understand SEC and FINRA regulations. And these people hold securities licenses!
My partner is a financial analyst for MD Anderson Cancer Center. He spends his days making sure the departments stay in budget when it comes to buying technology equipment.

OMG. I am so there with you. Change the venue, but the laws and regulations that are in "my world" are just as rigorous and ethics bound. How do some of these people get licensed and more importantly, HOW do they keep them?

I LOVE my job. I'm an Admin Assistant at Duke and my DP is a Fed Officer. Both of us really LOVE going to work everday, and that I know, is rare!

My husband and I are pastors. He is the offical pastor and I am the unpaid help!!

We love what we do even thought it can be emotionally and physically overwhelming.

I have also taught (English) and my husband has his masters in emergency disaster, I said that so I can tell you my nickname for him "master of disaster"

Thats what I have done my entire life! My Gf was recruited into the company she now runs all of my custom inground work. On the side she plays football and we run a promotions company that mainly does Drag King shows.

But to be honest..... what do I do? Plan Disney trips! LOL

I think the $$ was appropriate! LOL It is also so expensive!!

I am ok with her not carrying a gun, for now (although afther the 350 broke down for the 5th time, yes I said 5, i may reconsider). Most of our friends and family do, it is where we live. The whole idea of pa "clinging to their guns and religion" in the past election was right on the mark IMO.


As for football, I live in Pittsburgh! I think we are groomed from birth to play here, even as little girls!
