I know how you feel! A few months ago I had a pain in the right side of my neck. 2 months later after months of therapy I feel great! Well guess what happened yesterday? I got the pain in the neck on the other side! I am so upset since this is very uncomfortable and we leave on Wed! UUGGHH!

I hope you get better quick. 24 hours a few antibiotics can make a huge difference! For two years in a row our family has come down with strep 2 days before our trip. This year my husband has hurt his back. If it isn't better by next Wed, this time we will have to cancel our trip. Keeping our fingers crossed for a quick recovery too.

Sticking your feet in cold water sometimes helps bring a fever down too. Hope you feel better!

OK. I'm gonna sounds like a total hayseed--but take two advil, drink a ton of water all day today, slather vicks vaporub on the soles of your feet and put on thick white socks. This really does work!

Ive been taking advil and naproxen to try and keep the fever down

I found an old bottle of antibiotics, so I started those last night....hopefully by morning Ill be in good shape.

just have to get there tonight and Ill ride it out at WDW

Go to the drs...case you need antibiotics...by the time you are down there a day or so...you'll be all better!!! Better to be sick in WDW than at home, right?

I can sympathize with you only too well. Our son brought home a cold this past weekend, and now we're all trying to get rid of it. There are some things I really wish our kids wouldn't share!
Luckily for me, though I started using that Zicam the first night, and my symptoms haven't been near as bad as the others. THough my DH sounds like a barking seal and our daughter has the most gosh awful sinus infection!
Hopefully everyone will be well by next Friday!

Here's hoping the meds will keep you going tonight! Have a safe trip.

Sounds like you have a virus. Antibiotics will do no good. Drink lots of fluids and alternate Tylenol and Advil every 3 hours. If you develop a very sore throat and high fever you may have strep which does need antibiotics so you should see a doctor ASAP. Hope things get better before your trip!
