On Sunday. What do you do with your pumpkin pieces?

Any good pumpkin recipes?

I'll be making pumpkin, bread, pies and of course pumpkin cheesecake (one of our favorites).

We are having a carving party at our church tomorrow afternoon. It's tons of fun. We order pizza, everyone brings desserts to share and then they have contests for the best (various cat.) pumpkin. I am searching now for just the right template to use. Any Disney patterns out there?

We are getting our Pumpkins tomorrow and DH will be carving them...Dh is really talented when it comes to carving these...he just looks at a picture of something and he can carve it in the pumpkin! Hopefully I can get pictures of them up tomorrow night so you all can see (If we can find some pumpkins! LOL) I am having him carve Mike, Sulley and Ariel this year for my 2 kids!

We actually did two day of pumpkin carving. Half my family came yesterday with their friends, breakfast, pumpkin carving then lunch. Today the rest of the family came pumpkin carving then dinner.

They were all great, even the 5-year olds did a great job, one carved a cat with glowing red eyes, the other carved a skull (I thought all little girls likes to carve kitty cats). DIL carved an awesome haunted mansion. One of my DD carved the Headless Horseman.

It's been a long 2 days. The pumpkin meat is cooking a soon as it done I heading to bed.

It really was lots of fun and everyone was so proud of their pumpkins. Instead of candles we bought pumpkin lights that flash and blink. Much safer for the little ones.

Does anyone have a recipe for toasted pumpkin seeds? How long do you roast them, and at what temperature? Anyone do anything unusual with the pumpkin seeds, rather than just salt them?
