So...Today's April 10th...anybody there getting FP #4 and beyond on your phone?

Even factoring in the ability to make these from the phone, I find it really hard to believe there is this little FP availability on a random Monday in April after peak spring break crowds are gone. I suspect the system is just not functioning properly.

I really hope you're right. It does seem highly unlikely that everything would be gone so quickly. Things like PhilharMagic, Laugh Floor, Speedway, and Mad Tea Party shouldn't ever be gone, but I've seen them with no available time slots today and yesterday. Considering the entire system crashed yesterday, I think system problems are the more likely explanation.

Maybe because of staff cuts they aren't running rides at full capacity, thus issuing fewer FPs.
Possible, but even things like Monsters Inc Laugh Floor with no FPs available seems really strange to me. They always run continual shows, so it's not like a coaster where they will take a train out of service. The reports yesterday that SB lines were empty in the evening lead me to believe that the FP system was not running properly.

There have been so many times we've gotten 4th (and beyond) FPs well into the evening with very quick return times, that I just can't believe that before noon, all afternoon FPs would be gone, even for high-capacity and lower popularity rides. I know very few people who prebook all of their FPs for morning times, so the number of guests who are even eligible for 4th FPs at the moment shouldn't be very high. I will be very interested to follow reports over the next few days and weeks. I wonder if any CMs on the boards know more about what is happening with the system?

Availability is definitely very dynamic. Now, there is 3 times more available than when I checked 10 minutes ago. I can only imagine this will make me even more tethered to my stupid phone. I'm sure I'll be able to get more FPs, but it will involve relentless MDE stalking. Blah.

Clearly there is something wrong with the system. Man would I be pissed if I was there now.

I swear, this system is crazy. I told it I wanted any MK attractions with availability at 1:00 pm today. It said nothing was available. For IaSW, it said the earliest time was 6:50. I clicked on the IaSW link for more times, and it shows availability for 1:00, 1:40, 2:25, 3:35, 6:15 and a number of later times. :crazy2:

Hmmm. . . I wonder if that's glitchy of intentional? I don't have tickets right now, so I can't play with the new look, but I know the pre-set choices they used to do offered Disney some measure of crowd control. You could nudge people to certain rides or times based on the presets, unless they knew about and bothered to adjust times. Now, it's fully customizable; good for guests, less good for crowd control. I wonder if making it look like there are only certain times available unless you bother to poke around more may be their way of influencing crowd flow still.

I'd be interested to know how much of this is Disney bugs, vs. people with APs and a 60-day window trying out snagging fastpasses for the day (even though they aren't at the parks), to determine if they can get a fourth, and what all the rules and loopholes are. This would def. result in mixed reporting of nothing available and things re-appearing later.

I thought about that as well. Someone needs to post that "I'm Part of the Problem" meme for me.

It does still seem strange about the times that it says aren't available but really are. Maybe it is trying to steer the guests in certain directions, but I think that might be more sophisticated than I am willing to give Disney credit for.

Availability is way, way better today. For a party of four, at 2:37 pm, I can get any of the following:
IASW at 2:55, 3:15, 3:35 etc
Buzz at 3:10, 3:45
Dumbo at 3:50, 4:00
HM at 2:50; 3:15
Tea Party: 4:00, 4:30
PhilharMagic: 2:55, 3:15, 3:55
Laugh Floor: 3:15, 3:50
PotC: 4:40
Space: 5:05
Splash: 8:20
Barnstormer: 4:20
Aladdin: 6:45
LM: 4:00, 4:50

This is way, way more than I saw yesterday. Barnstormer was offering me 10:20 pm return times yesterday, even in the early afternoon. I think what I've posted above is fairly consistent with what I've seen as 4th FP availability at the kiosks on my most recent trips.
