So Tired of Waiting!!!

Hey friends!

Sorry, but I just had to vent about how tired I am of waiting until 180 days out to make my dining reservations!

I know exactly where we want to eat each day and at what time. We are staying at the BC the 3rd week of August as always. Lots of Cape May and Epcot dining in store, as usual.

Sorry, I know I'm whining but I just can't stand the wait.

I hear you. I have our list of where we want to eat, but our trip isn't until Oct. And we honestly aren't booked yet, although I'll be doing that in January. I told my husband last night that I'm going to drive myself nuts because I just want to keep planning, but I really can't do anything else until we have flights, park hours, etc. And we can't even make our ADR's until the very end of April.

Those poor folks! They are the ones walking up to the podium at a peak dining time asking if there is availability, only to be told they are booked solid!

I always cringe when I see some poor family walk up without ADR's and ask to be seated, especially during Free Dining. It is almost impossible to get a table, especially for a party of 4 or more. I guess folks have to learn the hard way!

We always start planning our next vacation about 11 months out (we are DVC members and that is when we can book our home resort). I look at the 180 day ADRs as something to look forward to after booking our resort. If I did it all at once, then I would have a VERY long wait until our next vacation. I usually plan in steps which helps with the wait. Just be patient and your 180 day mark will come before you know it .

I'm tired of waiting to book the next trip - why can't I book a trip 2 years out & start paying it out now?? We want to go end of May 2013

We are going the 2nd week of August & I already have our list of ADR's all planned out . Now only if I could make the reservations -- few more months left .
