So this is what mid-life crisis feels like? Dec 2011 PTR

Yes, I was thinking we were going to ride a ride together during the day. (figment) Yes? I just need to know what people want to do so I can plan accordingly.

Yes! But I don't think that Amy will be there until later that night:confused3.... So we could do both or we can just make it so all 3 can join? I'm good with anything so let me know what you guys would like!

So you guys all promise to take a picture and text it to me as this all goes down...RIGHT?

Of course!

So you guys all promise to take a picture and text it to me as this all goes down...RIGHT?

Well of course!!! I need someone number for the text tree still.... hmm wonder who that might be! Plus we might leave you a little pixie dust at your hotel for check in!

So talked to Amy and she freaked out about chocolate when I mentioned Gharadelli's (I know i can't spell! But y'all like me anyway!). So who all is up for that on the 20th after everyone's done with their nightly touring. Thinking will probably have to be at least 9pm or so? I've even gotten my mom to agree to maybe tag along. She thinks it's neat that we have all hooked up on here and will be in the world together!

:thumbsup2 I'm on a mission for good photo ops! Question - do they take photopass pics at the character meets? My brain tells me they always have on our past trips... but I'm second guessing myself!! :upsidedow

Yes, for most of the characters (Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Donald in Camp Mickey), but not Miss Bunny.

And, as far as "Finding Nemo", we saw it for hte first time this past September and absolutely loved it. Mark is a huge Dory fan (has a t-shirt with Dory on it that says "Just Keep Swimming"). It is a toss-up as to which we liked more -- Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo.

Okay you guys are really hitting below the belt on this one...not only do you get to meet up but now you are talking about (not to mention girl time only)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I don't know how I overlooked this small-ish fact about the 20th and meeting up for dessert after 9pm... but <ahem> Eddie's plane lands about 9p and I'm not sure what his thoughts would be if I wasn't there to greet him... :lmao: Actually... I'm pretty sure I would know his thoughts "I should have just stayed home!" :rotfl:

SO anything after 9p is out for me on the 20th but please do not let that inhibit you all from getting together.

Ann & Heather - I'm sure I could make it to Epcot on the 16th! It will be, and I'm totally guessing here, after 8p.

And then Ann/Susan/Ashley - if there's another time on the 20th or a quick park greet for those at AK this day, that's a possibility, I think? :goodvibes

AND Ashley - aren't you and I at CP the same time on the 18th??

Our group is not early risers, so we won't be at rope drop at AK. I'd say maybe right before or after lunch time, or maybe before the parade would work. Maybe it would be fun to all watch FOTLK together in the same cheering section!

I won't be there on the 20th, but you guys have fun! I will think of your chocolate as my son is celebrating his boy scout Christmas party and I will be envious of you while I am there!

I know right? Too bad we couldn't all talk in the very beginning of booking and go on the same dates so that at least one day from each trip intertwined! I love chocolate!

That's good for me! I think that illuminations starts at 9pm if you wanted to do something before then? Or after depending on how early you are starting the next day because the park is open!

Amy! Your the one who suggested the 20th lol! Would the 19th work better for everyone who's there that day?

I think FOTLK sounds like a pretty good idea! Or right before the parade! Ann??

Either! The next day could be a lazier start day for us - not too early! I think we are getting closer to some concrete plans though!! :thumbsup2

I'm telling you... my brain is :upsidedow these days!! That's why I need the vacation! I need to survive these next 4.5 weeks of school semester without going to complete mush!! :surfweb:

The 19th... we are at DHS - dinner that night at Sci Fi... but could take a break mid-day? Remind me... where is everyone else?

Forgive me as I am not feeling very well so my head is spinney... but.. all this back and forth talk is making me very

Ashley, I posted to your TR (I think it was yours ) my summary. You mentioned being able to do a spreadsheet to cross reference peoples plans?

Heather, meeting earlier in the day I thought would be your family and mine..so that your ds and my dd could meet. The night time I thought was just us ladies (if it works out)

Ultimately getting all of us ladies together at one time without each of our family might prove a daunting task. I have pockets of time here and there, but I figure it may not mesh up with all of the rest of you. If it does, great! If not then maybe a quick dismeet with family members would still work?

Imagine if I was in the mix...you really would be

I just love this animation! :rotfl2:

I hope you gals can get this all worked out so I can smile and think of ya'll together!

I'll write your name on a paper with a stick figure (I'm not too good at drawing) so it's like your there with us!

HELLO 20's!!!!

:woohoo: 29 to be exact! 4 weeks, 1 day (I'm a little early on my weekly post but who cares, right??) and only 19 more work days!!!

'Next day of trip' post coming up!!! :goodvibes

12/21 - Epcot - round #2 for Amy and Kids, round #1 for Eddie

This will be a full busy day for us! We want to fit in as much as Eddie wants to since he will have just arrived. He won't take much interest in seeing resort decor, other than just what we happen upon, and his interest will be rides and good food!

SO we will hit the concierge lounge for breakfast and head for rope drop at Epcot on this day!

And we will experience Ridemax or Touring Plans for the first time... I've tried to incorporate the two to some extent and they both unanimously recommend heading to THE LAND as soon as rope drops... to get FP's for Soarin' and go ahead and ride if the line is not long.

Soarin', Living with the Land, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Mission Space... those are going to be his "must do's." We will inevitably ride Test Track more than once if possible, as well.

I would like to tour WS in the afternoon. Try to finish rides by lunch time and head to WS for lunch (still undecided so open to suggestions) as well as to catch some of the story tellers. Eddie is a history buff and I really think he'll enjoy this as well. We will leave Epcot for dinner at the Beach Club - Cape May's Cafe. After dinner, we will return to stake out a good watch spot for Illuminations and then call it a night!

I have no doubt we will be exhausted... the crowd level jumps quite a bit the final three days of our trip so I'm thankful the kids and I are predicted to experience lower crowd levels and that Eddie will be there to help me keep track of the kids when it gets busier! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a good day planned. As for where to eat in WS. I tend to judge a lot by what dessert I might want. Norway has awesome ones... and then pair it with a sandwich. Germany has a good cake and the brats are pretty good too. France has a good selection of pastries and again... sandwichs. So if you don't want a sandwich... maybe go with Germany. However, for a large serving. Morocco's cs is the one (although recently has not got stellar reviews)

Hooray! When I see your big, bold numbers, I know they're mine too!

Love the Epcot plans. I cannot wait to get there! I'll have to check my schedule to see if we're there the same day. I know we won't be doing Rope Drop though.

So about two months ago... the kids received a special piece of Mickey Mail from the fairy godmailer at Disney World. ;)

Nolan was the first to find it... he then passed it on to...

and then I was able to get a picture of all three of them together trying to figure out how this could have happened... :goodvibes

I love the Mickey mail faces! They are so cute!

I like Epcot plans as well! For lunch what if you all got something from a different country to share (so everyone gets a little of everything)? I can't wait to eat in the WS!!! That sounds so bad... but it's so true! I love different foods!
