On November 11th, 2011 I danced to "So This Is Love" from Cinderella with my own prince charming.

"So this is love, Mmmmmm,
So this is love,
So this is what makes life divine.
I'm all aglow, Mmmmmm,
And now I know,
The key to all heaven is mine.

My heart has wings, Mmmmmm,
And I can fly,
I'll touch ev'ry star in the sky.
So this is the miracle that I've been dreaming of,
Mmmmmm,
Mmmmmm,
So this is love."
-Cinderella

Hello, readers!

A little about ourselves:
I am Danielle and my husband is Chris. We were wed on 11-11-11 at Walt Disney World, but couldn't take a honeymoon after the festivities due to work and the approaching holiday season. We tossed around many, if not all, of the Disney locales for our honeymoon destination, however we decided to take advantage of the spring room offer and head back to Disney World this May!

Basic Honeymoon Information:

Travel dates: D23 Boston Fan-niversary Event May 20th & Disney World May 21st - 26th, 2012!

Resort: Originally All-Star Music; now Caribbean Beach Resort!

-We are booked for 5 nights at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. This will be our first time staying at this resort, but my second time at a value, so nothing should be too surprising.

-We plan on trying as many new things as we can. No repeat restaurants, no repeat excursions.

-We are not going to be on a set schedule, aside from the occasional ADR.

-I'd like to relax as much as possible and make this a not-so-typical Disney World vacation, i.e., stay out of the parks as much as we can.

Chris and I are both huge Disney foodies. We even have a running joke where we announce, "I'm hungry...Let's go to Disney!" every time we're starving and just want a good meal. It's also my goal to dine in every restaurant on property, and I'm happy to announce that I am chipping away at the list.

Immediately after submitting the payment on our hotel room, I went to search for available times and tables. We will be eating at the following:

5/21: Citricos for dinner
5/22: Sanaa for dinner
5/23: 'Ohana for character breakfast
5/24: Tony's Town Square for dinner* (May change if we nix our park day.)

These will be all new restaurants for us, so we are super excited. We are not on any sort of dining plan, so we will be paying for these meals out-of-pocket. Anyone have a favorite dish at these restaurants listed?

subscribing! We're visiting towards the end of May. Can't wait to read about all of your plans

So, like I mentioned in a previous post, we're trying to make this a very relaxing and very schedule-less trip. I am thinking of adding on a couple of additional activities to try, such as: a couples massage, Fantasia Gardens mini-golf, Jellyrolls, etc. We will see!

Sunday 5/20:
•Fly from BOS to MCO (hopefully early, still not booked)
•Take Magical Express to All-Star Music
•Check in and drop off luggage
•Walk around resort and get acquainted with locations
•Casual dinner at Intermission Food Court

Monday 5/21:
•Pool day
•Citricos for dinner

Tuesday 5/22:
•Spa day (?)
•Sanaa for dinner

Wednesday 5/23:
•'Ohana character breakfast
•Downtown Disney
•Mini-golf or Jellyrolls, or both (?)

Thursday 5/24:
•Tentative Magic Kingdom day
•Tony's Town Square for dinner

Friday 5/25:
•Check out
•Fly MCO to BOS (hopefully in afternoon)

I'm here

The shrimp appetizer and lemon cheesecake at Citricos are fantastic!!

I'm excited you're going back!! Saratoga Springs is my vote on the spa!

Followed you over from your wedding TR!

Sounds like a great relaxing trip! The temptation to be in the parks would be too much for me to resist!!!

Sounds like a great plan so far! We ate at Citricos on our anniversary last May and it was really good. I got the filet and I'm pretty sure it was the best steak I've ever eaten. I love citricos! If you time it just right you can walk out to the marina after to see the fireworks :)

I'm here!!!!!!

DF and I ate at Sanaa the night he popped the question. It is amazing. Not sure if you are a seafood person, but if you are they have a scallop appetizer that's to die for.

Can't wait to read more

I lurked on your PJ (loved your photographers, btw!) so I'm glad to see you're going to do a trip report! I love the themes of the two mini-golf courses but I've never been (the Fantasia Gardens edges out Winter Summerland for my favorite :))

Your ADRs are making me hungry already!!

Your itinerary looks good! Excited for you!

Subscribing! Also...

May 25th: Meeting Jackie???

I want to see you! Is the 25th the day you arrive?

UM, yummy! Thanks for the suggestions! And, yep, I'm looking in to the Saratoga Springs spa! :)

Thanks, friend! I'm glad you could join me!
I've actually passed on going into the parks on 2 previous trips. I love just taking in the resorts and actually enjoy my time just as much as park-going.

Thanks!!!

i'm here!

Yay! :)

That's awesome--I'm always one to try a good steak! Thanks for the tip!

We're 100 days out from our honeymoon! :thumbsup2 (And it's even crazier to think that we've been married almost 100 days, too!)

~

EDIT: Oooh! and we just got our confirmed Mickey-mail today, too! I'm so excited!

Congrats! Is there a reason you chose All-Star Music? It seems like a lot of people really like Pop and I don't see as many All-Star reports (I know I've been to one of the All-Stars but I always forget which one! I think it was Movies. Maybe. :rotfl:)

Yay! So exciting!

I know! I can hardly contain myself! :hyper:

I chose All-Star Music for two reasons, actually! The first is because I've already stayed at POP Century before and I try to stay at a different resort every time I go. And two, one of our groomsmen is paying for our hotel room as our wedding gift and Music was the cheapest!

PS. Every time I see your name and icon I get so pumped for Brave! I cannot wait to see it. :thumbsup2
