"So this is love" - A Honeymoon Trip Report! (Update: 8/1) COMPLETE

Wow, I love all of your clothes! Where do you shop? Haha I wish you were closer, we could go shopping together! ;) I really like your Artist Point outfit, and the dress for Shutters. And the Animal Kingdom Lodge outfit is so cute! I love Disney Bound, can't wait to try it myself some day!

Super cute! You are so organized lol!

Thanks! :) I like to think that I'm organized when it comes to packing! :lmao:

I would love to shop with you--Hopefully sometime in the near future! Most of the clothes are from Macy's with a few items from Express thrown in.

I'm a little late, but I just read through your plans. I want to have my honeymoon in Disney someday as well! I love your outfits- they are so cute!! Can't wait for more! It's coming up so soon!!

Hello! Thanks for joining! :yay:
:) I hope you can honeymoon at Disney one day, too!

I just got off the phone with Disney...and we are now staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! :beach:

I also ended up getting a deeper discount than what was showing online, so we are actually paying LESS than what we had scheduled at All-Star Music. Oh, and it's a KING BED room, too! :cool1: (This will be my first time sleeping in a King-sized bed!) I'm actually SUPER excited now. I feel like this will feel more honeymoon-y.

So, now all I'm waiting for are our new Magical Express luggage tags and other confirmation emails, but we should be good to go! :goodvibes

GAH! I am so far behind, lovey!!! I am so sorry. <3

First: Congratulations on being re-hired with the Disney Store. I know that must make you so happy.

And I was all "What?!?! Is she kidding?!?! Upgrade to CBR! It's $9, woman! That won't even get you a quick service meal in the parks!" But then I saw that you did and I was happy. I actually bought a CBR refillable mug at Goodwill this weekend. (Yes, I go to Goodwill to look for Disney stuff on a regular basis.)

Your outfits are absolutely adorable! I love the Citrico's dress and the Disneybound outfit, especially the shorts.

SO excited for you, girlie. And so excited for ME too!

I love your outfits, Danielle! So glad you guys upgraded and got a better deal! What a nice surprise! :yay: Can't wait to hear all about you trip.

Danielle,
Ok so i am totally glad that you got a job at the disney store I am actually pretty jealous. I am also glad that you upgraded. Wowsers you are so close to getting to leave I am also jealous of that! Thanks for the great ideas for window decor you rock.

I hope everything is well with you!

Teresa

Thanks, Jackie! I'm so excited about the store, upgrade, and departure soon! :)
Haha, I look at Salvation Army and Savers for Disney things too. I once scored a collectible Tree of Life plate for $5!
I will see you SOON!!!!!!!

Thanks, Teresa! Things are going pretty well. Can't really complain.
You will be in Disney soon, too! Less than two months to go, girl!!!

Quick and short update since I'm on my phone:

-We are about a week out from our honeymoon!!! We just celebrated our 6 month-aversary, which is so crazy to think about!
-Checked into Caribbean Beach online! I requested Jamaica and North Trinidad - hoping to get at least one of them. This is my first time doing online check in and so far so good. Seemed easy enough.
-Disney never reissued us updated bag tags for ME. I guess we'll have to claim them, but I'm nervous we won't be able to get on he bus. Anyone have this problem before? Suggestions? Should I call?
-One of my Disney Store managers suggested I add on the cast member dining plan, thinking I would save on meals? Any CMs have input on this? She said it was like ~$26 pp/day??? Something like that??? Are you allowed to add it to just a discounted room reservation even if we don't have a ticket package or anything? It's so confusing!

Ok, that's all I can think of for now...

Can't wait to go and relax (and then wrap up he trip by meeting some of you lovely ladies!!!) :)

Congrats on being only a week away! I'm so excited for you!

As for the bag/tag issue, do you mean that you'll have to claim your bags yourself and then carry them onto the bus? If so, we did this and had absolutely no problem. I believe our airline wasn't one of the ones that supported the bag pick up feature. We just went to the bus, handed them our luggage to put underneath, and then grabbed it when we got off. Super easy!

I know nothing about the CM dining plan but it sounds potentially awesome! If you do go with it I'd love to hear about it :)

DH and I have never heard of the CM dining program. It might be because we live here and don't need it, but I doubt there is one. I'd definitely call to check though, because that would be awesome if there was!

I'm all caught up on your honeymoon plans. How exciting you were able to upgrade to CBR, we're staying there in a few weeks. We had the same problem with the ME tags and info, but our travel agent said that shouldn't be a problem :confused3 This is what she sent me:

For Guests who do not receive a booklet, please see below for details about the service.

Before You Leave Home
Be sure to pack any medications, valuables, and any other essential items you will need upon arrival into a carry-on bag.

Arrival at Orlando International Airport
Please take the shuttle from your gate to the main terminal and proceed to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center located on the B side, level 1. You may follow the airport signs to Ground Transportation.

Luggage Delivery

You have two options:
1. You can pick up your luggage at baggage claim located on Level 2 and bring it with you on the motorcoach. Bell Services can provide assistance to your room upon check-in.
2. You may proceed to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center and Disney will collect your luggage. You will need to provide your airline baggage claim check numbers to the Disney representatives.

Luggage delivery to your resort room may take up to 4 hours to arrive after you have checked in at the resort. You do not need to be in your room to receive your luggage.

Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center

To check-in for your transportation, you will be asked to confirm your return flight information. You will then board a motorcoach that will take you to your resort. your travel time may take up to 45 minutes as the motorcoaches may make up to three stops before arriving at your resort.

Walt Disney World Departure

The day prior to check-out, you will receive a Transportation Notice with your motorcoach pick-up time and location. To ensure that you do not miss your flight, motorcoach pick-up times are scheduled approximately 3 hours prior to your flight departure time for domestic flights and 4 hours prior for international flights.

I don't know if that will help or not! The last time we were in the ME line the guy in front of us didn't even have a ME reservation, and the lady was able to add him with his resort confirmation number, so I doubt it will be a problem if it doesn't show up properly in the system. I hope some of that helped.

Your outfits and room decor are adorable. I think we need to start a room decoration thread on the disbrides section.

I hope you have a magical trip, and can't wait to read all about it. pixiedust:

•Thanks for the info, Becky -- I am glad to hear that your experience with ME was easy.
•I'm about to post about the CM dining, see below for more on that!

•Thank you so much for posting that info for me! :worship: I asked the CM when I called and they gave me a similar answer. :thumbsup2
•Have you stayed at CBR before? You'll have so much fun too!

Ok, so just to update on the last post --

I called Disney last night and a cast member discounted dining plan does exist! It was $29.99 pp/night, for 5 days. So, for $300.00 we are getting 1 table-service meal, 1 quick service meal, 1 snack, and a refillable mug for each of us a day!!! I am SO excited with this because I had done a whole spreadsheet of every sit-down meal we were attending and pulling the items I thought we would consume...That total was around $700.00. :faint: That wasn't even factoring in the other times of the day we would snack. In the end, I am so thrilled we are able to save quite a chunk of money! I am definitely going to do a foodie report because of this too!

PS. 1 week from now we will be on the airplane on our way down! :hyper:
