Ok, I think I'm finally losing it!!! There's this guy that I talk to on the phone all the time. We both work for the same agency but in different locations. I've never met him, don't know much about him, but oh boy do I want to get to know him! We only talk about business, strictly professional, it's not like I call him just to chat or he calls me to tell me about his weekend. I don't know what's come over me.

When we talk, he's so funny, and nice, if I ask him to do something he gets it done right away whereas if I need the same thing from someone else and it takes them a day and a half. And oh boy does he have a nice voice. I have even gotten some of my co-workers to call him just so they can hear his voice, they have all told me that I should venture down to his office sometime so that I can actually meet him! LOL I'm definitely not gonna do that, I'm no stalker!

One of my co-workers has to go down to his building for a class in a few weeks and has offered to track him down and take a cell pic and send it to me so that at least I know what he looks like! She even tried looking him up on Facebook! This is a 55 year old woman trying to set me up with this guy that nobody knows. Am I that desperate?!?!?! I love my co-workers but sometimes they scare me, I'm afraid 1 day one of them will just blurt out on the phone, "hey send us a pic!"

Thanks for letting me get that out, now I can get back to work with my mind a little clearer!

I think you should go meet him. I mean you talk on the phone, right? I don't think it's stalker to say that you wanted to drop by and put a face with the voice. Just keep it professional.

I'll make a wager, though, and say he looks like Buddy Hackett. :lmao:

Why don't you talk a walk around the building on your next break? I wouldn't trust anyone to do the "stake out" for me, I'd want to see him myself.

What if he's extremely smooth on the phone, but hideous? What would you do?:rolleyes1

You can "stalk" him professionally, ya know.

Find out where he works.

Hi, I'm so and so, we talk on the phone and email all the time. I just wanted to put a face with the name. Thanks for your professional responses to my work requests. If I can return the favor anytime, please let me know. Well, I don't want to keep you from work. Nice to meet you. Bye.

Oh I think stealth is the way to go here. If the person is an uggo the OP can decide if she wants to go ahead or not without the poor guy getting crushed in the process.

If it were me I'd totally send the friend for a cell photo. At the very least I'd want to know if he had a wedding ring, pictures of a family on his desk ect. and a description before meeting him.

Is he on Linkdin?

When you say different locations are you talking about different towns or states or just across the same town?

I think the picture from your friend is a good idea. Nice voice doesn't always mean nice anything else. :scared1:

I would definitely love to meet him, but that would require me to go to another area, like 45 minutes away. I don't have to go there but maybe 1 or 2 times a year, trust me, next time I have to go down there, I am definitely going to swing by, but that might not be for another 6 or 8 months! Even if he turns out to be hideous, he's still really nice...heck, he's probably married, I just can't stand not having a face to place the name and voice ya know.

That's my thoughts exactly, is he married, what's he look like, I know he has an awesome job so he's not a bum! IDK if he has any type of myspace, facebook or what ever else there is, I thought about asking him but haven't gotten that bold yet!

Don't ask! I'm all for a little stealth stalking, lol. What's the harm in looking to see if he's on Facebook-he might have a pic with his profile so you can see him and if you're really lucky he's profile will be public so you can see if he's married. Let us know!!

Okay, I demand you give us his name so we can help in your online search!

:rotfl:

Ohhh I love a possible Prince Charming story. He could be handsome and perfect, recently out of a breakup with some girl who didn't know how good she had it... you never know.

45 minutes is not that far! You need to do this on your own, stealth style.

However, make sure he has a car ;)

Also make sure before you are made a fool of make sure he is 100% single.

Or he could be happily married with a brood of children. ;)

I know I know, I just have to come up with a reason for my boss to send me there! I already tried the "oh there's a class that I need a refresher on next week can I go?" My boss said he needed me in the office though :(

Oh what fun! I don't have any ideas for you, but I'm going to come along for the ride! :lovestruc

I still say send in the friend. What are friends for if not to run covert ops on potential hotties? ;)

Google him! Maybe it will turn up a picture or any possible marriage or birth announcements.

I fell in love with my DH over the phone so I love this kind of story. I hope it works out. You must keep us posted. :goodvibes
